EVGA did not cancel the associates program.
Charlesssy I think I might have accidentally cancelled my associates membership. Is there a way to reactivate it? Thanks
Did you receive an email from EVGA confirming your membership has been cancelled? Did you go to the membership tab and to the option to cancel and did you confirm your choice? Did you for some reason cancel your Elite membership? That would cancel your associate membership. Basically, if you did not receive an email from EVGA confirming your cancellation, then you should be fine. You can always email/call them and ask https://www.evga.com/about/contactus/. You should note, if a member cancels their associate membership, it is permanent and the member can never rejoin.
gotcha, didnt they cancel a program recently?

The EVGA rewards program was cancelled. That was the program that gave 2 EVGA bucks when registering a product.

Interesting, I received an email from evga today that someone actually used my associate code for the first time on 12/28/21. So they must have received a discount and now I have $3. It doesn't say whom I should say thanks to; so thanks if you are reading this. I don't have any big purchases planned until the 4000 or (more likely) 5000 series GPUs but it all adds up right?
If you're looking for a discount on evga.com, use someone's associate code during checkout. Here's mine in case you need one quick: 4DNZU0G734GQHBW

Nereus, I looked a few pages back from here and your description is pretty good regarding whether it might be better to use an associate code vs. getting your own. For most people that just occasionally buy something, using a code is an immediate discount over waiting for the rebate of sorts. Although, one way you could make use of this for yourself for larger purchases is to signup yourself and have a significant other or family member buy with your code until you have enough saved up to buy something with the evga bucks. Even 3% of a $2,000 GPU is still $60. Once when you buy, and again after the evga bucks. BTW, it might have been said already but you must have the cutest animated GIF on here. :)

LOL cheers, cute kitten is winning at cuteness. :) One thing - I don't think you can use the code of someone who lives at the same address, so be aware of that (or if you do, they don't get the EVGA Bucks credit for it).

Hey just curious, when I went to checkout with a purchase today I used someone's associate code and it said I couldn't because I'm an associate.. does that make sense? If I'm an associate I can't use someone else's associate code when checking out?

That is correct. If you're a member, anyone else who is *not* a member of the program can use your code and get a discount off their purchase from EVGA.com, while at the same time generating EVGA bucks for you. The catch is that if you are a member, you can't use someone else's code to get a discount.. so basically you have to decide whether you would benefit more from getting a discount off all your purchases from EVGA.com using someone else's code, or if you would benefit more from other people using your code to generate EVGA bucks for you, which you can then put towards your purchases from EVGA.com. Oh, and no, you can't join and un-join and join again etc. - once you've joined the program, if you decide to un-join, you can never join back up again. More info about Associate Program: https://www.evga.com/associates/faq.aspx and https://www.evga.com/associates/terms.aspx More info about EVGA Bucks: https://www.evga.com/evgabucks/ ..although that page needs updating - the rewards program no longer exists.

I see! Well, with all the associate's code floating around here I might as well quit the program and at least benefit by getting a discount on my next purchase, lol. Thanks for all the help!

https://www.evga.com/products/diy/ several GPUs are currently available NOW ....... then only way your likely to get a new GPU without waiting Use My associates code QR2IBEVA7LMCRCU & SAVE an additional 3% on your GPU & even more on the other parts FYI, you can use anyone's associate code ... it is up to you to choose 3080 should be a good card if you have the budget for it .. if Not then the 3070Ti would still be a good upgrade

The only thing I found concerning this is at the bottom of this page https://www.evga.com/associates/ and all it says is this: "If you came here via an Associate Code, a cookie has been created with the code. You can now shop normally and when reaching the checkout page, the Associate Code should automatically be applied. If the code does not automatically apply, you may have cookies disabled. You may manually enter the Associate Code and apply it to your order." The last sentence leads me to believe if your browser is set to clear cookies after exiting, it is gone and if not, it may still be there.

So on the banner, it says click here to purchase. If we tie a URL to it, do we want the URL to be or should it be which takes them to the products. The first link takes them to the associates page, which kinda just tells them to sign up as well or use a current associates code a check out.

Actually it's still in place so the discount still applies. The discontinuation is on the EVGA bucks rewards from the code being used. Either way still cool for the additional discount.
