EVGA ELITE Membership requires a valid EVGA account, 100 posts on the EVGA Forums OR qualified EVGA products registered to your account, and submission of a brief form. https://www.evga.com/member/elite/ ..might need more than 1 product registered. Alternative is to start browsing through the forums and add relevant or helpful comments to hit 100 posts.

I am guessing you posted a link or a picture... although you have been here since 2010, you will need a minimum amount of posts to get links and images to work.

This is a bit different this is more of a referral program. If you buy an EVGA product and use someone else code you will save 5-10% off and they will earn 3-5% of the total purchase in EVGA bucks they can use on anything they want. Since Associate Rewards members can't use a code themselves it would take about two people using a code for them to get the discount not being a member gives but of course if someone got 34 people to buy a 3090 they could get rewarded with only having to pay $0.99+S&H for a 3090 for themselves.

Honestly, if anyone is making a purchase, they should try to use the Forum Moderator's code if they have any. Not trying to take away others who are members, but the moderators deserves some recognition for dealing with explosion of posts here and maintaining order.

I have never used my associate code so I was thinking of leaving the program to purchase my 3080 and use someone else's code. However, I am worried about this wording... "Please note that any outstanding EVGA Bucks will be forfeited" Does that include my EVGA bucks from Folding and product registration?

The Associates Program .. Pending EVGA Buck (from the 30 day delay) - that have Yet to be released to your Associate account FAQsQ. What happens if I cancel my Associates Program Membership? A. Once you leave the Associates Program, your Associate Code will become inactive and you will no longer be eligible to receive EVGA Bucks from third-party purchases. Additionally, any Pending Bucks will be immediately forfeit. https://www.evga.com/associates/terms.aspx

If you leave it, you can never join back up again on your account. Certainly if you think it will benefit you more using the program to discount your purchases rather than having people use your code to give you a smaller amount of EVGA Bucks, than sure. I would think it would only impact EVGA Bucks gained through the associate program, as you can still be on the rewards/affiliate program either way, but I can't guarantee it.

I left the program for just this reason. I waited until I had no more pending EVGA Bucks and then left. I kept all the EVGA bucks I had earned, folding and from the associates program.
