DoctorDothraki 3985 (3090 FTW3 Gaming) now in stock for the first time! Its queue is complete
Yup. Kind of cool, eh?
I just realized that it's the first 30 series SKU to go straight from September 2020 to in stock. It only moved from Sep/24/2020 7:53:00 to 16:12:06 in that time (8 hours, 19 minutes, 6 seconds) in 14 weeks, and spent 65 weeks without a report. Now we just need a SKU in September 16, 2020 (the launch date of the 30 series as a whole) to get in stock (which are 3881 (3080 XC3 Black) and 3883 (3080 XC3 Gaming)). EDIT: I also realized that this week, 4 SKUs entered the "in stock" club: (links have no associate codes) - May 9: 3751 (3070 XC3 Black)
- May 11: 3998 (K|NGP|N Hybrid, queue previously completed)
- May 12: 3767 (3070 FTW3 Ultra)
- May 13: 3985 (3090 FTW3 Gaming)
But only one SKU reported a drop (3767, also in stock) Finally, we have 30 SKUs which have been in stock at one point or another, and 26 SKUs which have not. We have passed the point of equilibrium this week!

Okay. What I did was that once I got a card I wanted out of the queue, I kept the second one. When I got its notify, I reported it here and let it expire. It helps us track the queue

Why are you saying July 2022 for the 4090? That is a complete fabrication - almost sounds like you're trying to troll with the "lol" at the end, considering you've posted this in a couple of threads related to the 3090 or 3000 series. Almost everywhere I've seen has reported late September for the initial 4000 series release at earliest, and that would not include the 4090. Historically, Super/Ti models come out later, and much later still the XX90 equivalent, for example: 3080 release date: September 17, 2020 3080 Ti release date: June 3, 2021 3090 release date: September 24, 2021 (a whole year later) 3090 Ti release date: March 29, 2022 The only article I've found that proposed the earlier release date (with a total click bait title of course) at Computex later this month, but in the very same paragraph said it was highly unlikely because Jensen is not presenting at Computex this year, and he has announced every new generation of gaming and data center GPUs for as long as he's been there. So basically some dipshirt made up a story and posted it with acknowledgement is was likely complete crap, but clearly did it for clickbait, and now you're here saying "4090 planned for July!" :D edit: just realized you posted a week ago that you're planning a Z690 KP mobo with 2 x 3090 Ti KP in SLI, and now you post this? Certainly sounding trollish...

jhfct Good morning sir,
This is my reference :
https://videocardz.com/ne...-to-launch-in-early-q3
Early Q3 (mid july) is a rumour...
FyI : I am not trolling
Read the entire article after the click bait title - at the very end, that article says, " NVIDIA usually releases its high-end GPUs series first, which means that all those cards might be announced at the same time, but actual launch might be staggered for each model." - so like I said, 4090 quite possibly not until September 2023. I note that the article also says the 2080 came out in August 2018. The actual release date was September 20, 2018 - easily verifiable. Glad you're not trolling, but these 'rumors' sure sound a lot like they were posted just for click revenue. Maybe I'm wrong, but it appears unlikely, particularly given that Jensen isn't even presenting at Computex.

I'm not disagreeing with your point, but the bolded above is inaccurate. The 3090 was on the market well before the 3080ti. I see that the top listing on Google when you search for it is an article from Tomsguide that says "2021" but that is a typo. It launched 1 week after the 3080. Neither one was what any of us would call "available", but it did technically "launch" as much as you can call any of the 30-series launched as per any of the queue pages you are fully aware of (because you and I have been here the whole time lol). Edit: For example, I tracked down a post from you, here, that says you signed up for the 3090 queue on 9/24/2020.

Yeah you're right, the Ti came out later, my bad. Point is, the chances of the 4090 being released in July is pretty much zero. Even if, by some miracle, the 4000 series launches in July (which would usually be the XX80 as the top card initially), it is still very unlikely the 4090 gets released at the same time. But hey, I guess anything is possible. Supposedly it's a totally separate model chip, so who knows. Not meant to pick at jhfct sorry, I'm more frustrated with these click bait articles seemingly trying to outdo each other with unrealistic claims based on 'sources'. I guess they're taking a page out of mainstream media's playbook.
