After the first day, I'm pretty satisfied with the 3090 FTW3's cooling, but the hybrid kit would be nice to have.  My card runs mid 2000 boost in gaming and 1950s ave after an hour of benching.  Not a great clocker, but good enough to my sim rig.  Gaming temps stay in the 60s in my rig in the sig.  We'll see how it does in my P500A sim/vr case.  The 240 hybrid kit should fit nicely in front.

There's a Kingpin showcase even for the 3090 coming up in about a week (14th I think it is, can't remember the date off the top of my head) and some change, I think it's a safe bet the Kingpin & the Hybrids & the Hydrocoppers should all be coming out not long after that.

11/24 Hybrid cards & kits are gonna be on the site.  The Kingpin thing is the 14th or so, there's an eVGA OC event with Steve from GN & Jay on the 20th... the 24th is the Tuesday after that, when releases normally are.

We shall see if my genie-level of calling stuff continues. lol

I guessed the 20th.

My best guess is that EVGA will announce the Hybrid Cards on 11/20.
Steve and Jay are going to have a live streaming event where they are going to be trying to overclock the 3090 K|NGP|N Card
I hope they can start something soon to have us sign up.

What would really be nice is if an EVGA staff employee actually wrote down the usernames on this thread so they know we aren't bots and put us on the list first. *hint hint*

lol I'm in a similar boat. I have some registered cards but they are FAR to old to be accepted for membership.. sadly :/

What would be nice is if they make the Hybrids an Elite-only thing first, then vet out the bots from there, so that people like us in this thread, who owned Hybrid cards previously (and thereby are already Elite members) have first crack at them.
I'm getting one regardless, I'll wait however long I have to wait, I have a 3070 XC3 coming that'll be here Wednesday, so my 3080 FTW3 Ultra is goin' on to the market as soon as that arrives & I ensure it's a working card.
I'll be sad to see it go, but I look forward to the Hybrid that will be it's eventual permanent (For the next 2 years) replacement.

I got the mailer to buy a 3090 FTW3 Ultra this morning but decided to pass on it in hopes to nab a Hybrid 3090 or K|ngp|n. Thought about buying it and selling it shortly after if I were to pick up a hybrid but figured I've waited this long for an initial upgrade and this long after the 3000 launch, what's another couple weeks or month plus the hassle of a temp card and resale process. Will be worth it in the end and walking away with one of these cards no matter what. 

I was in the same boat, as well, waiting patiently for weeks, but I decided to pull the trigger when I got my 3090 FTW3 mailer and I will just add a hybrid kit in a couple of weeks. I just installed it today and I’m impressed with the temps and clocks. I’m not jumping up to the XOC bios until I get water cooling onto it, however. I just didn’t want to risk not being able to get a hybrid card or Kingpin card even though I’m elite, since those will both be even more limited in supply than the air cooled cards. In the end, I figured it will be easier to get a kit than try to score a hybrid card, since the supply of the kits shouldn’t be hamstrung by GPU availability.

I'm curious about this as well. Was just looking over my system again and the only available spot, internally, is up front and I'd like to do a Push/Pull config but if the Rad is thicker the PSU shroud and HDD Cage is going to get in the way. But I can always mod too! :D 

Likely to be a standard 27-30mm AIO radiator.  I'd be shocked if it's any thicker since they want it to be as compatible with as many cases as possible.
I'm lookin' at getting an Arctic Freezer II 420mm for my CPU, that thing is thicker than normal, bigger than any other, and has longer tubing... gonna wait for the GamersNexus review to be on the safe side and make sure it doesn't have "weak pump" issues with all that extra tubing & radiator girth.
Push Pull on the GPU radiator is probably still going to be quite effective, I know for sure it was on my 1080 Ti FTW3 Hybrid, helped bring down the temp on the core another few degrees.

Hopefully we get some news in a week or so. I ask every week in the evga weekly stream.
