Hi everyone,  made the plunge and grabbed this beast of the card, I have been running a bunch of tests and I am not sure about my results.

OC Bios
PWR 130%
+1025/+120

i7 7700k OC 4.7

Do these tests look okay? The lowest score test I went back to the Stock CPU. I've never posted on forums and after reading a bunch Im trying to provide the information you guys may need.

I noticed that GPU scores looked good, CPU Score looked below average, and end results looked subpar.

I would be most grateful for some help, and willing to do the work needed.

**Edit, I realized I can't share links to my 3dmark comparison.

Can you pass graphics test 2 without crashing with all hardware at default clocks?

    Hi Sajin,

I just ran Timespy extreme and it failed at Graphics Test 2 with everything at Stock. This just started about 8 tests ago. Up until then was passing with scores between 5126 - 5663.

    Maybe a dud?

Possibly. Can you pass graphics test 2 with the gpu completely underclocked to max negative values on the core & memory?

You can post links to your Scores just leave off the https:// and we can add this
If you set your CPU and Memory back to Auto in the Bios on the MB will it then complete the test?
Make sure you are using 2 Separate PCIe Power Cables from the Power Supply to the Graphics Card as well.

OK so this is basic but I have to ask, - did you reboot your rig after it failed suddenly ?

If yes, try a full power off - Unplug it

It is set like that now and won't pass. Trying right now with memory and core slides all the way down.

I've rebooted since the failures. I'm going to do a FULL off and disconnect power and try again. After this test of mem and core underclocked all the way down.

     troubleshooting Guide

use Step 1 if you have a Microsoft account; Step 2 if not

#6 By default the xbox app has game dvr turned on since the windows 10 anniversary update. This is causing a mess of problems with games previously running at 90-120 FPS suddenly being capped at or below 60 FPS. It also has been known to cause microstutters.

    Solution #1:
Open Xbox App -> Settings (gear button) -> Game DVR (tab) -> enable/disable silder to OFF.

    Soultion #2 (no microsoft account):
Open Registry Editor (Run > regedit)
    Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\System\GameConfigStore
Set the value of DWORD "GameDVR_Enabled" to 0
    Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\
    Create key "GameDVR"
Create DWORD 32bit called "AllowgameDVR" and set to 0
    Restart PC & Retest system.

No, I am not using 2 separate PCIe cables. I will switch that.

I am going to change that now.

Update just passed timespy underclocked. But it looks like it was timespy 1.1 and not extreme.

    .3dmark.com/spy/6522106

Going to power down, and give it a second power cable, as well as disable the xbox DVR.

I'll also review the troubleshooting guide that was Linked.

*** Added: Tried Timespy extreme with the underclock and it failed at Graphics test 1.

    Checking back in.

I powered down and unplugged all power. I swapped in 2 new PCIe cables, as suggested.

I ran Timespy extreme, with GPU and CPU at Stock. Passed test 1, failed further into test 2.

Underclocked the GPU, slides all the way down on Mem and Core. Launched Timespy extreme failed into 2 minutes into Graphics Test 1.

Does the crashing occur on your normal ftw3 vbios? How old is your psu? Does the issue occur over multiple graphics driver versions?

Asus auto enhancements were on. Turned that off now. Running the Stock Intel settings for the 7700k but set a manual vcore of 1.23, so there wont be any turbo vcore spikes.

Yeah! ASUS Bios IMO have fallen even below EVGA's Bios.

I have not tried the normal Bios, will do on the next test. PSU is from this year.  PCIe Cables I just put in have never been used.

I have yet to test other Video Drives. Will report back.

Well I passed a Timespy Extreme.

    GPU: Stock
    Disabled Asus Optimizations in Bios
    CPU Ratio: 47
    Manual Vcore: 1.25
    Disabled: SVID

I am guessing my problems may not have been GPU related, but overall system stability.... Thoughts?

I am guessing my problems may not have been GPU related, but overall system stability.... Thoughts?

    I would agree  https://www.3dmark.com/spy/6523023
It seems that if you start over with your Motherboard OC after you have upgraded to an RTX Graphics Card the Better.
So many post that it is the Graphics Card and not the Motherboard, IMO it starts with a Solid Motherboard Setup.

2080ti ftw3 ultra card with power limit +130%?

Mine is maxed out at +124%.

Realised the power limit is actually 124%. I was mistaken because I can manually type In 130 and hit enter.

I did a custom VF curve and am now getting

+1150 memory / aggressive curve for core.

In game, after 20 min of playing getting 2150-2100mhz at 69c between 1.88 - 1.93v. Volts will clock down with temps.

If you are getting 2150-2100Mhz at 69C you have a very very good GPU.
