EVGA 2070 issue? monitor goes blank for a few seconds

Hi
 
I am using a Monitor/TV (HDMI) dual screen setup.  
 
From time to time my Monitor (ASUS VG278) will go blank for five seconds and then come back on.  It is connected with a DP to DP cable.  I have am also using a TCL TV that is connected by a HDMI cable.  
 
If the blank screen cause by my settings?  What can I do to remedy this?  Its a massive pain while playing games.

    When I sometimes click on news articles, one of my side screens or both goes blank and comes back to normal.  Not sure what it's all about but since it doesn't really affect my daily operations, I have just let it go.  It just doesn't happen all the time but rarely from time to time.
     
    I would test another DP cable if possible.

    It happens when your Using the TV ?
     
    then - Make sure sleep is turn Off on the Monitor

    Is your dp cable vesa certified? If no, buy one that is certified and see if that fixes the issue.
