You might want to let a little Sun Light in to keep the Mushrooms from turning into Mold.
But I am thinking around the End of April.

Well at least that is something :)  Thanks a bunch.    It helps clear up direction.  I am not going to buy a card just to rebuy another card when it comes out.   I can start weighing options like price/performance/build aesthetics/tech timing-EOL/personal value and so on.   I have all the components literally sitting on the floor waiting for the last piece..

If you mean overclocking, the Kingpin cards will be premium hand selected (binned) GPU's that should OC quite nice.

Had a feeling it wouldn't come out this month... that sucks. It could be close to May by the time KPE's make it to market. I don't think I can hold out that long; I think a Galax HOF or an RTX-Titan is in my near-future. Good to have an update though, big-time thanks for the heads up Jacob.

^^ Just watched that video as well. Kingpin's reaction @11:24 to GN talking about 2080 ti's getting into the low 80's by saying...

"They get hot right?! When we saw that I was like, this card has to have water-cooling standard. Has to."
 
That statement finally pushed me over the edge to place my order for the EVGA Hybrid cooling kit for my 2080 ti FTW3 Ultra. I'm able to keep my GPU core temps down to 70C or below. But it requires fans at 100%, which are extremely loud. And even then, MEM2 and MEM3 still creep up to 80C. (+100 core clock and +800 memory)

I'm ready to cool and quiet this GPU down a bit. 

Inb4 $2499.99 limited hydro copper edition. If I get one, I'll probably just get the hybrid and then a custom block whenever EK etc. decides to release one.
 
So Jacob says April and Vince says March... we will be in April in 14-days...?? Does Vince mean March 31st ? These slow-drip, hype-up teasers are killing me... I WANT SOME FIRM DATES AND NUMBERS DAMNIT!

so with the kingpin much higher power limit, what are the chances us with FTW3 hydro setups getting a new bios with higher power limit?  currently cant OC my ftw3 on water any more then i could get on air because of power limit.  EVGA any idea if a new bios is incoming for the ftw3 to make me feel better about the extra 200.00 i spent on a hydro setup that only gave me less temp an 0 performance??

Prob many months after the kingpin is done selling out.

I'm curious on this myself. I've just ordered a Ftw3 ultra, but depending on the price difference and availability, I may cancel my order.

 
Just go ahead and assume the week of April 29th to avoid any disappointment. Personally I've dialed back my expectation until May.

When they do start selling the KingPin 2080 ti's is it going to be a pre-order kinda deal? Or is it a first come first serve, when we are out of stock sucks to be you kinda deal? I really want to get my hands on one and get into overclocking and I am slightly concerned about the availability. 

Nobody knows. I already posed the same question, someone said it's first-come, first-serve basis with no announcement ahead of time; but who knows. I would guess that if any announcement is made it will be a twitter post or something. If it's a pre-order scenario I would have expected to already see them up for pre-order because apparently they will be available in April.
