 Does the Commercial Contest should have a video of uploader or a commercial fully made on computer will work? (like animation)

Starting to wonder about this myself, but I do not see anything in the rules about this and clearly all you see in the commercial contest is uploaders in the vid lol.

Another day, another shadowplay entry update, another day mine isnt showing again. or my friend's. What gives?

I posted a bunch more Shadowplay videos today.  I should be able to have all qualifying videos up by tomorrow.  If you don't see your video, it was likely because it broke the terms (innapropriate content like language, over 16 seconds, etc.), or the video resulted in an error (would not play).

So you individually check every shadowplay and commercial videos? Youtube likes to be funny by adding 1 second to the thumbnail's but when checking videos its -1 seconds. Also, will you be notifying people if they are disqulified?

Oh man, that's EXACTLY what happened to me!  I uploaded my commercial and the file was 30secs (it just worked out that way timing wise) and I coughed up a furball when I saw that YouTube had it listed at 31secs.  I checked it in the YouTube video editor and it lists it at 30secs there - I had a notion to trim a second off the running time but forgot that it would list as a new video with a new url making the exercise moot.  And of course this was all after I had already entered the contest with it...it only occurred to me to double check the listed time afterwards because I was pretty excited having completed the project.   Dang it all.

Would suck not being able to enter the contest b/c of youtube goofy +1 sec mistake, oh well.

Had the same +1sec on youtube while actual footage was 16 sec.So im now disqulified???  Would you give us another chance to send you a link?

Is there a place to view the submissions for the wallpaper contest? 

Regarding the Shadowplay entires,  we do watch every single video that is uploaded and play it multiple times.  Reasons why a shadowplay video would not qualify would be: foul language, inappropriate scenes, copyright music, or being too long 17 secs or longer.   
 
I know there are concerns with youtube adding +1 second, and honestly  I haven't seen this on our end.  
 
@Helgaiden;  there is no notification if the video is denied or doesnt qualify.  If you do not see your video you can PM me or Rob to double check.
@Overhlopec; if you have a video that longer you can edit it down to 16 with cuts/ jumps if you want.
@kainnemesis; Yes,  havent seen the +1 sec on any videos; most are on the mark or under.  The ones that i've seen that dont make it are way way over the limit.  
@coriolisaffectment;  Thanks for your upload, I do remember you video and YT says its 30 secs on the dot, no issues saying its 31secs.

@appvps;  as long as it has the EVGA logo in the commercial then you are free to get creative and use animation if you want! Good Luck!

I am confused regarding the scavenger hunt.  I am stuck at 6/10.  I have clicked on quite literally every link besides articles.  I am now going through articles from years ago.... it just doesn't seem like there are any left.  Can I get some other suggestions maybe?

The only suggestion  I can give you is  'Keep Looking ' because they are there.  Some of us have found them so don't give up.

For the "Commercial Event", is there any specific things that are not allowed like copyrighted music, gameplay content, etc..

Read the Terms and Condition, it specifically tells 
 

Each Participant agrees not to submit any Entry that (1) infringes any third party proprietary rights, intellectual property rights, industrial property rights, personal or moral rights, or images depicting any recognizable athletes, celebrities, animals, animated characters, objects or any other rights, including without limitation, copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret or confidentiality obligations
 

Thus you can't use game recording or other copyright stuff. But I've seen 2-3 entries with these things and I think the might get disqualified.

Well, I just uploaded my wallpaper submission. Never made a wallpaper before and learned a lot of cool things in GIMP. I think a lot of people are going to like it, especially the RBG gamers.

Starting it now. wish me luck
