Dear sahafiec and MvdL79, I can confirm that your confirmation email was received into our system. I would also like to apologize as I believe that there maybe some confusion occurring here. I can confirm that our system does pull emails from a mailbox and moves them into our database for review and this is likely why you received the below automatic notification from your read request. We appreciate everyone's patience, as I assure you that we are following up with all prize claims. sahafiec same situation here MvdL79, someone is playing a strange game @EVGA. maybe they just delete all mails from outside USA, I'm really curious how this is going to end. the problem is reproducible so no email gets read there, even support mails. maybe an admin can forward this issue to the person in charge?!

thank you very much for the fast response ChrisB, good to hear there is no general problem. it seems your moving the mails to the internal database indeed irritates the notification system causing this annoying notifications.
also thanks to Robert for forwarding the issue.

james4083 Has anyone who emailed iwon @evga.com received a confirmation email of sorts?
I haven't. I emailed on 08/11 and never heard back so I was a little worried. I won Battlefield 4 so I assumed it would just be a code for the game. I ended up emailing again yesterday, but did not receive a reply.

The medallion event was a JOKE. I searched for over 17 hours through the number of times I searched and I never found even one. You cannot now and never will convince me that through all of that searching I clicked on "all the wrong documents". More to the point, I feel the contest was a bunch of baloney. The worst part for me was that finding all 10 medallions would not have even guaranteed a prize but rather an entry into a drawing with thousands of others for a chance at a prize. I have always been an avid EVGA customer due to reasons that do not include the ability to win free stuff, and I am certain I will continue to be for those same reasons. I will, however, never waste my time believing that I might have a chance to win something from their pitiful contests ever again. To be left out, as I feel I have been, just feels bad.

Since you have posted 2 times, I am really confused on why you didn't win anything. It sounds to me like you didn't actually "enter" the contest. You have to click the button to start before any of the "Medallions" would even show up. After you do that, they were almost impossible to miss. If you really want to win, don't post anything for another year. Then maybe, you can join all the zombie accounts that won. Nothing will hurt your odds more than helping, posting and having a legit account.

FACT: In your own statement this was the first year you found all of the medallions necessary to enter the contest. FACT: That indicates that EVGA may not necessarily make them easy to find per se. As a person who tends to read the forum rather than participate, this chain is starting to look like one of those chains that keeps me reading instead of posting. I am done. I have had enough. I know it is my own fault. My post was clearly meant to disclose my disappointment with the contest where, by your own statement, it can be difficult just to earn an entry. I did not earn an entry because I didn't look at the right pages. I get it. Congratulations to all who found all 10 of their medallions!!!!

They did it different this year from my understanding. It was randomized and not everyone would find the medals on the same page. I had trouble with the 9th one for some reason but I finally got it. When I first started looking, I wasn't finding them so I went back and re-read and then signed up. Not sure why I try every year but there have been a few real accounts that have won.

If any cheat locations are posted in the Evga forums, then that post is subject to being deleted. This pertains to posting during or after the event. It doesn't matter. That cheat location could be used in the next event, and there's no way we will allow this stuff to be posted in the Evga forums. If we have edited or deleted the post, and that same poster posts it again, they will most likely get a warning. I shouldn't have to post this, but there's one member who just doesn't get it, and I have to keep explaining it when I get their PM. *EDIT: Deleted posts that encourage cheating for Evga events, and posting websites that show cheating locations for past, present, and future Evga events.

The Event is way too easy for people to Cheat the system. EVGA does nothing to make it hard for people to make fake accounts to have better chance to win. People can cheat the system the following ways: Make a EVGA account using free wifi around town/city Make a EVGA account using work internet Make a EVGA account using internet access from phone company (not home wifi) Now you know why every year over 90% of the prizes go to people with no posts.

That's sad people with no post get i7-5960X and whole, platform, Broadwell-EX and GTX1080 and X99 motherboard while lehpron and other members with 20.000 posts have Pentium with 2 cores and Internal graphic card. That's one of 50 similar examples. But life is not fair.

A simple way to stop that kind of cheating would be to require a product registered to your evga account to be able to take part in the event. If you don't have a evga product registered to your account, you could take part in Facebook event or entering using snail mail (letter).

I think a minimum post count would help too or registration date. Every single year is the same thing....90% of the prizes going to zombie accounts that were just created. The registration idea is good too.

Is it cheating, if you know last months winning lotto numbers, when you no longer can buy lottery tickets for that lottery. Guess evga better ban mentioning of google, bing or any search engine on the forums, that's a form of cheat for unknown future event. 1) I didn't hot link to the other forums 2) The event ended over half a month ago 3) Impossible to cheat when you can't register or qualify for event that has ended I sure would like to know how you can "cheat" in a contest that been over with for half a month.
