Hey there,
I'm running an EVGA 1080ti K|NGP|N HC on a loop with a 280mm & 360mm rad. I've flashed the LN2 bios switch to the "Extreme Watercooled OC" bios that increases the target power limit to 150%.  The problem I'm running into is this hasn't given me any additional performance.  When I run at the default BIOS (120% power limit) I can get my GPU to 2050mhz & 6003 vram freq.  When I use the OC switch @130%, I can go to 2063mhz & 6210vram freq.  With the "Extreme OC" BIOS, the additional 20% increase in power limit, has zero effect, and I'm stuck at 2063 & 6210.  My temps never exceed 45c, so I would expect a bit more headroom.  Maybe that's just this chips limit, and I am fine with that... but just for the sake of overclocking, I'd like to know if there's more I can do.

I've got a Corsair HX1000 PSU powering this, so it's not a power draw issue.  Also, the core voltage % hasn't made any difference whether at 0% or 100%.

Hey Heavy, I have not... I am just now getting back into GPU overclocking... the last time I did any GPU overclock was when I was still gaming on my parents first Pentium 3 machine with a TNT voodoo card. (LOL)

There's days of information there. All the way from the basic to hard mods. Saijin, a mod here, also might have some resources to help. I think there's a BIOS that is relatively difficult to locate in the wild he might know about.

Force max voltage if you aren't already doing so...

Nice ok, I see what you're doing... I'll keep working on this curve to get it to max voltage then push up from there.  It's currently sitting at 1031mV at 2063 (2062mhz), so maybe that's it.

Negative, I either get idle or none.

So far I've gotten it stable at 2101mhz using the custom curve!

That's awesome. I would love to get those clock speeds at some point. Like you I hadn't touched the voltage stuff and i am stuck at 2076mhz so thanks for asking the question JackCrackerMan. I just have a small issue where I cannot get my power limit to 130% on the OC bios :(

I hope that you can get some more mhz out of your card!

All three stock vbios are limited to 118% even though one allows you to adjust up to 130%. You'll need to flash this vbios to the card to get over the 118% limit.

Ok, so I switched all my radiator fans to 100%, dropped GPU temps to below 40 at load, was able to get 2138 to post with just barely a better benchmark than the one I got from 2126, pushed it to 2152 (rounded), passed 1 round of supercollider, failed the second.  Scores dropped too even on the passed run which tells he it wasn't going to hold.  So It would seem 2126 is the sweet spot with this one.

I was really hoping to crack that 6400 score, so close.  I bet if I slowly increased vram freq I'd probably get that extra 2 points.

Highest I've Managed on Superposition is 2113. I think you'll find that 3DMark is a bit more challenging in clocks. I've just installed the newer version of the Hybrid (yes pump failure) and temps are even better than my old Hybrid....Passed a quick run of Superposition with the memory at 12.8ghz. So maybe the new cold plate for the memory makes a difference.
When it cools off this evening I'll see if I can sneak past Sajin's 8K score...I've never bothered maxing the voltage and this GPU will do 2037mhz all day at 1.0v undervolted.

That is still really impressive, I wish that I could get that.
That is a nice score, i hope that you can get past it! I too am going for that 6400 points now only 8 away but I am at 2088mhz only.

I get mine to 2176MHz at 1.2V and my VRAM to effectively 6500MHz (so a 13GHz) with 1.475V ... but currently it is too warm in my apartment to even attempt overclocking. But daily usage I leave her at 2025MHz and 6054MHz ...

If you want to get even higher,[...redacted]

@JacobB just realised I forgot to give you my settings for my 7920X @ 4.7GHz and 3.2GHz Mesh :/ Will do so tonight, if I do not forget it though :(

PS: I removed the part about the other possibility

I think you'll find that 3DMark is a bit more challenging in clocks.

Superposition 8k optimized is more stressful than time spy extreme. I can do 2152 in time spy extreme, but I can only do 2100 in superposition 8k optimized.

Nice!!! Yes... definitely something I may try when the temps drop (stupid Phoenix is an inferno right now).  I was gone a few days as my pump failed and I had to pull everything out and rebuild with a new pump (decided to take everything out and clean it all in the meantime.) Temps seem to be running great, and when I put my radiator fans up to 100% I can keep the card below 40 at load.

I think comparing Time Spy Extreme with Superposition 8K would not be comparing like for like. But Superposition 8K does put alot of load on the GPU. The most stressful test I have run using 3D Mark is FSU Stress test and max I could get so far on air with my 1080 Ti Kingpins 2114/6000 SLi

If you want to get even higher, you will need an unlocked VBIOS which you can get, but this is always locked to your GPU (name and S/N). If you want to know how to get it or from where, drop me a PM. This will remove all Power Limit and Temp Limit, but also basically disables Nvidia GPU Boost

I'll look forward to it! No worries about forgetting. It happens to all of us!
