Sheesher Was set on getting the Titan X and getting a Hybrid kit for it later but now after seeing it's 3DMARK scores its only marginally faster than the 1080. Not to mention the NVIDIA store charges sales tax so in total a watercooled Titan X would add up to 1450$ which is just ridiculous. I'm now definitely gonna pick up two 1080 Hybrids as soon as they're in stock this week! :D
Good Choice. If you are trying to snag some hybrids u better check every time around because they are being released this week

Does anyone know if these can be SLI'd? Edit, well of course they can, but what I'm asking is how? I can see taking out the fittings (maybe?), but then the coolant (assuming it has) would leak out some and would they keep just as cool in SLI with only the one fan between the two?

Of course they can as long as you have room for the rads.

You need to wait for the quick disconnect that will be coming later. You can daisy chain those and also the CPU blocks they are releasing at some point. These first hybrids are sealed AIO. It will not be as cool with the heat dissipation requirements of two of them on a single small radiator anyway.

So I'm planning to buy a 1080, an hybrid/ AIO model to be exact. Therefore it's either going to be either EVGA's Hybrid, Corsair's Sea hawk X or Gigabyte's (not likely though).
Now it's just a matter of deciding. The Corsair lands at 973 USD in Sweden (with swedish taxes) and there's no current price for EVGA's other than the 730 on the product page. So i wonder is that with any taxes or without? Also Have any of you guys been noticing coil whine on any of the cards mentioned? One guy on another forum said that he had gotten quite a lot of it from a 1070 version of the Sea hawk. Would EVGA accept a return if their card had an unusual amount of coil whine? Cheers,

$729 is USD anyway and does not include taxes or shipping or currency deviation. eVGA has responded to coil whine issues in other threads on this forum. If it can't be resolved otherwise, they will RMA it for you. Any card from any manufacturer can have coil whine. Sometimes it is the card and sometimes it is a combination of the card with your particular system.

I am still debating whether to wait for the evga hybrid to come out in Canada, or just go ahead and get myself a Sea Hawk X. I love EVGA and their customer support, but I'm wondering if it's worth the wait while I do not know how the stocks will hold over here, and the avaibility/price of the Sea Hawk X is quite reasonable. Petmic10, if you don't mind me asking, how do you find the Sea Hawk X when it comes to it's max temp under load? I've heard stories, when comparing the 980ti version of the Sea Hawk X to the EVGA Hybrid, that it wasn't as good as the Hybrid in keeping the temp down under load (by almost a 10 degree celsius difference). Do you think they made the 1080 version of the Sea Hawk X better this time around?

I would have gone with Sea Hawk X by far if only it was available on EU. Since 15 June it never went in-stock for shops and online stores which ships to Italy. MSI keeps delaying the shipment of these cards... I just can't understand why.

I have absolutely no complaints regarding my Sea Hawk. I think I said it earlier in this thread, when I first got the card the temperature hovered around 50C while gaming and the highest it's gone has been 52C. Keep in mind I had my radiator fan rpm set to about 800 rpm(which is about 50% fan speed) to get these temps. Yesterday, as a test I bumped the rpm up to 1000rpm and the temps dropped by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius while still remaining quiet. Also, it's the middle of summer and normally my room temps are about 26C(79F). Yesterday with the AC on and room temps about 21C(70F) I was playing Fallout 4 at 1440p and the gpu temps didn't move from the mid 40's. Very impressive. I can't compare it to last years model because I never had one but anytime your gaming, 1440p in my case, and temps stay in the 40's it's a win.

You're welcome. Honestly, I think all of these AIO models will be around the same, temperature wise. My advice, if you can't wait, get the first card you can get your hands on.

When i was monitoring on nowinstock.com the msi seahawk 1080 came in stock on 5 days last month. amazon got 10 in stock everytime it came in stock. I couldnt buy it because i was waiting to get my new mastercard. Saw an evga SC for 649.99 and snagged it. I wanted a watercooler so bad but its even harder to get one if you have to use a forward company to ship it to my island, specially when the stores here aint EVER getting one and i might not be able to snag one by now unless evga and newegg also starts shipping to forward companies. The seahawk did come 5 times in stock on amazon tho. I say just get what you can m8 :)

Maybe on the 1080 or you just got lucky. I had to return my second 1070 Sea Hawk, sure when the chassi is closed the noise become minimal but it's still there. For someone sensitive like me i hate this noise, other wise i love the black design of sea hawk and it makes me sad that my second card was a failure. I may give it a 3rd try but this time go with the 1080 :( BTW my psu is Corsair RM850x, can it cause the coil whine problem? I rent my friend g1 980ti and run it with this PSU, it had no coil whine att all even in 1000+ FPS.

For someone sensitive like me i hate this noise, other wise i love the black design of sea hawk and it makes me sad that my second card was a failure. I may give it a 3rd try but this time go with the 1080 :(
BTW my psu is Corsair RM850x, can it cause the coil whine problem? I rent my friend g1 980ti and run it with this PSU, it had no coil whine att all even in 1000+ FPS.
Maybe I did get lucky. I've opened my case door and stuck my head right next to the gpu and I hear nothing except the sound of fans spinning. I use an EVGA 850 P2 power supply which is very efficient. I've heard that some psu's will make the sound more pronounced.
