Tried to check out twice now. I got the text from my card company to verify amount but no confirmation that worked. I look in my cart and it is still there.... Not a great experience today.

yeah i am NOT an elite member my 1080 is not registered and i not posted on the forums up to now *sigh* this is even worse than losing out on the 3080's but i like the idea

I mean i'm not going to buy one. A 3080 works perfectly for me. But the highest end card is always very expensive.

Even with the membership gate for Elite members if the checkout system is using the same resources as the regular shop its going to run into the same issues for loading.
But it does make it harder for non-humans to get to.

Its because I think the bots are still trying to hit the site. Its a clickable Add to Cart button but the bots can't reach it as it only shows up through the Elite page. If they would turn those bots off I bet all of you could get through.

They would need to have the Elite member's area hosted elsewhere for this to not be the case, and even then it would need to be of sufficiently high scale.
