On the long ladder to elite membership, worth it if we get a better chance to purchase. I have an EVGA 3080 on order but I hope to make 100 posts in a few days.

I really regret not registering my EVGA 660ti and 980 now :(
I had a Titan X Maxwell registered but too old to qualify for elite so I don't think your 980 would have qualified anyway.

I don't visit TWITCH very often - but can you explain this ? Are they claiming to upgrade people instantly to an ELITE status at EVGA by buying/ using some kind of points from TWITCH ??

The possibilities for obtaining are literally buying products, making 100 posts in the forums, and participating in TeamEVGA's twitch streams once a week. Offering the twitch points as an avenue for obtaining Elite status not only broadens the opportunity but also boosts EVGA's social media reach. Are you turning up your nose that people are getting Elite status through twitch vs buying products and calling it pay-2-win?
