Some people have had some success on Bestbuy, although it's becoming heavily botted now and the drops keep shrinking in volume here in Canada.

Ditto. It seems like if you didn't pick the highest end SKUs the notify queue isn't moving at all. They are well past Day 1 on the "most expensive" 3080 FTW3 Ultra. I "notified" the 3080 XC3 Gaming and the queue hasn't moved from launch day. I have a Day 1 pre-order for the XC3 Black from a different site, and they keep postponing the date claiming they aren't getting any from the supplier (AKA EVGA).

I bet A&E channel will make a deal with scalpers on a new season with "Hoarders". The scalpers house filled with so many products trying to sell on high prices and no sales because of new sku's.

Since I've been saving for a RTX 3080 FTW Ultra with no luck. Next since I've saved enough for a 3090 then that is out of the question as well. Now I have to be like Marty McFly without a time machine to really get this RTX 3080 TI

I put myself on the notify list for an RTX 3090 way back in November, and from my understanding, they are still stuck in September 2020, the original release month. Doh!

I was able to get an XC3ultra. Site crashed a few times, was very slow. Eventually got to the 3080 page, saw it and black edition not sold out. Got to checkout screen all the way to shipping, the page then froze and I figured I was sol. Reloaded and it moved on to allow me to pay with paypal. Confirmation email from EVGA and also PP. Transaction processed email from EVGA a few minutes ago.
Lucky man. I have been waiting forever.

Lucked out about 7 weeks ago and received a surprising phone call that mine was ready for pick-up....thanks Memory Express (Victoria, B.C.)....about 6 weeks before that I called them directly and asked someone there to put my name on a wait list...Evga 3080 FTW3 Ultra.
