Just came back from cinema night and saw update on my RMA. Part Number Out: 08G-P4-6286-KRNext Step: Cross Shipping Product Damn i hoped for a little upgrade since a friend told me i maybe get a 2070/Super or with luck 2080   Well i still be kinda happy if i can use my new monitor at full resolution again  Thank you guys again for your help! I am so sick of UPS or better said United Problem Service... Had 8 deliverys from DHL this year and everytime i heared the bell and all was ok. Just 3 times i had to get to lokal office as i wasnt home. third time now that i waited for my package from UPS and didnt hear the bell ring... just checked the delivery state and it said i wasnt home

At least i can say that the german EVGA team did a great job putting out my RMA lend card this soon! Still i wish they would use DHL.

When today the new card arrived me i was doing photos of my old card. it seems to me that the old card may have been dropped since the backplate is bend on 2 edges and the new one not. but i never dropped it... ever had it lying on a pillow + air pillow foil (both on the floor) when cleaning it. found other guys with similar bend backplates here on the forums on new cards. i just saw the difference when looking on the new card wich was send to me. i also remember about it but as it was running ok i just lived with it.   Will that be a warranty problem?  The box it came with i still have here and there is no physical damage to it. PCB looks fine to me and the card was running good too until the artifacts.

You can swap the backplate between cards, then you'll not have to worry about having an issue - As Long As - there is No damage to PCB If you Ever get a New Card with this type of "damage" --> Always Call EVGA CS & have them make a Note in your file after registering it - or you could have returned it Happy your RMA Card Has Resolved your display issues edit typo

i would hold on to the new backplate with pleasure if it isnt a problem as long as the pcb is allright Not sure what to do  Maybe call the german team and ask them about it? Cool GTX

Should i send my old card back with the packaging the new card came with or better with my original one? The new one is brownish and has the Serial Sticker from new card on it. As my old one is in good condition i would like to keep it. Change stickers would be ok?

Send the bad one back in the box the replacement came in.
Keep your original box and packaging.
No need to swap serial number stickers on the box they sent the replacement in, EVGA will know it is the bad card being sent to them from the RMA number on the label\box.

BTW i send in the box with a little gift:  maybe bad translated: "Attention! there is the worm in there!" saying when something is not ok, but you dont know where the problem is, here in germany. its like "there's something fishy about it" but with a worm

The replacement card is running much more cooler than my old one. Even tho i had the cooling pad mod installed and the new BIOS from above. That i wonder about how this could be so much better. But what BIOS is this on the replacement? original one?

It's a vbios from 2017. 86.04.3B.00.84 & 86.04.3B.01.82 are from 2016.
