I spoke to FedEx today and asked about the tracking information on my Corsair 6200 kit.

And learned Corsair ships sea containers of items overseas from Taoyuan District TW, the sea containers go to Anchorage AK,
my package is in a smaller container with 599 other packages, was sent to Memphis TN, which is customs & a large distribution center.

Memphis TN had a vary bad ice storm two days before the container of 600 packages arrived, they are still sorting all packages,.. as they are sorted they will go through customs, will get scanned and show tracking information,..

And be out for delivery,.. my package and 128 others have not been through customs yet, which could be fine and will be through customs, on the way in next few days.

Or worst case the shipping/tracking label rubbed off, or the package was damaged.

So I guess if no tracking scan in two more days, I need to file a claim with Corsair.

FedEx started the claim today just to get the ball rolling, and will contact me and Corsair if they have any damaged packages from that container.

So that explains the long time without any scan, as they are scanning the sea container, and than a large container of 600 packages till they get through customs.

Fingers crossed my package will be scanned, on it's way in next few days.

I haven't had any issues with XMP 1 or Manually setting memory frequency with this system.

When switching from 2T to 1T,.. it's really important to clear cmos, power cycle, and train without fastboot. If it fails, press re-train.

You also need to power cycle when raising frequency.

Personally performance wise I see much better results with lower frequencies, tighter timings, command rate 1T. Running higher frequency 6600, 6800MHz with loose timings, command rate 2T does not gain me any performance.

Manually tuned 6000MHz CL28 1T up to 6400MHz CL32 1T seems to be the sweet spot for my system performance wise.

very kind, it is not clear to me but when switching from 2T to 1T, if you quit, turn off and do cmos, when you re-enter the bios everything is at default and you have to reload the profile, what does it change?
please, can you explain in detail the operations to be done for the shutdown?
thanks

Mine went from Winnipeg to Edmonton....making its way in the right direction anyhow...west!!
New delivery date is tomorrow....but Im thinking the following day as from Edmonton still has to make it across the Rockies...to the westcoast then to my Island ;) Quite a journey for a couple of sticks of RAM !!!

Hello slide1965,

There seems to be a bug/glitch relating to the CPU IMC, memory PMIC and Intel (DMI) Direct Media Interface for DDR5 memory.

The work around for this is: Before switching from 2T to 1T,.. Save your profile, disable fastboot, boot into Windows.

Shutdown PC, clear cmos, and switch off power supply for 10-sec. Than boot into BIOS, load saved profile, switch from 2T to 1T,.. generally the system will re-train memory just fine on first boot.

I'm not 100% certain what this changes, but it does improve memory training after making adjustments. YMMV overclocking DDR5 for now everything is trial & error.

if it is any consolation, i received my kit from corsair and it shipped from taiwan direct. fedex showed in transit with no update for nearly 2 weeks before it popped up in anchorage alaska, then it moved to indiana and on to me the following business day. i think it was 18 days total. enjoy!

I'll have to try that, I haven't been able to get 1T running with either 32GB kit (Kingston Fury 4800 CL38, Corsair 6200 CL36) on my Z690 Hero.

EDIT: What version of MemTweakIt are you using and where did you download it?

Luckily no smell.

However they do look amazing.

XMP 1 profile is plug & play: https://imgur.com/ZiuGy1l

XMP 1 default voltages: https://imgur.com/qNyAphB

It was quite a task getting Corsair iCUE & Asus ARUA to play nicely together.

Turns out Asus DDR5 motherboards default SPD Write to disable, this causes the Corsair iCUE software to not be able to communicate with the DDR5 memory modules.

You can find the SPD Write setting in the AI Tweaker > Tweakers Paradise > SPD Write, and then set to Enable,..

.. and load the Corsair RGB Memory Plugin for Asus AURA SYNC,.. done deal.

Oh and your still using Bios 1101? Never mind see above version 1101

Good to see discussion on Aura Sync/Armory Crate, first Asus board in some time and the RGB software is taking some getting used to. Tried the OpenRGB but it just blanked out the memory SPD info and couldn't control them anyway.

Yeah before I moved all the HW into my case I installed Icue to try n get Corsair Dom 5600 C36 RGB controll...no go ...iCue didnt see Doms...Braegnok firgured that out it looks like simple bios setting.....but iCue didnt "see" my FTW3080Ti either...did recognize my Apex Board.....
Loaded up stand alone latest Aura (Im not going down the Armoury Crate path)....Aura I was able to sync my Mobo and FTW3 ....but not Doms .....ggrrrrrr!!!

@Braegnok .....so are you running both Aura and iCue.....can we just run the stand alone Aura...that what I wold prefer....or just iCue if there is some way to get it to recognize my FTW3 3080Ti.....

I dont want all kinds of patterns and crap....just would like to synch everything to one color....

Personally I do not use Armory Crate, strongly recommend not installing it.

I only use the standalone Asus AURA, for Motherboard RGB, EK Velocity2 RGB, EK-Quantum Vector FE RGB.

So needed to install Corsair iCUE for RAM,.. as I also prefer just a vary basic static color or no RGB.

At first iCUE would not see RAM, neither would AURA,.. the RAM default was bright rainbow flashing, was crazy.

I wound up in the end just shutting the RAM RGB off, it's a bit too much for me. Most likely I will uninstall iCUE in a few days, leave RAM RGB off, just run standalone AURA.

Look at bottom of list for Note: The latest version is 1.07.79_V2.2.

Awesome, thanks.  I've been trying to avoid Armory Crate and made sure to turn that off in the Bios.  It's software herpes.  Looks like they're trying to push people to Armory Crate by stopping updates on the standalone Aura Sync.

Be carful the Asus Aura Campaigns site page is deceptive, don't click on the red DOWNLOAD or the red Armory Crate link.

Software Herpes ......I havent read a single good thing about it...guess you needed it installed for free license Aida 64...thanks Asus but no thanks...took the paid version!!!

The version Braegnok linked is the stand alone I'm using....

Most likely I will uninstall iCUE in a few days, leave RAM RGB off, just run standalone AURA.

with openrgb maybe you can manage motherboard, wb cpu ,wb gpu and ram , with gskill I have already tried and I confirm that it works, with the corsair ram I don't know.

but in the end you keep corsair or gskill?

Right now I'm leaning towards putting the G.SKILL F5-6400 CL32 kit under water, and run 6400 C28 CR1 profile.

The G.SKILL 6400 CL32 kit overclocks noticeably better, with lower voltages than the Corsair 6200 CL36 kit even with conservative clocks.

I'm retesting the Corsair kit profiles today running TM5, Kahru, Prime95 with TX and IMC VDD on Auto, SA lands between 1.15 - 1.2v.

The G.SKILL kit will run TM5, Kahru, Prime95 with SA 0.95v in Auto.

G.SKILL 6400 C32 kit,.. @ 6400 28-37-37-32 CR1 is TM5, Kahru, Prime95 stable.

VDD 1.53V, VDDQ 1.50V, VDDQTx 1.52V (On Auto) VCCSA 0.95V, L2 1.1V, IMC 1.3125V.

I've tried OpenRGB and couldn't get it to work with the G.Skill DDR5 memory.  It also kills the ability for anything to read the SPD.  Worked fine for the MB.

Do you know anything else that blocks SPD? I've never been able to get it to read on CPUz with my current build, but I have no idea why.

6Q6CPFHPBPCU691 is a discount code anyone can use.

Nothing else I've run across.  All I know is that I could read SPD after I uninstalled OpenRGB.

For a lot of these programs you need to enable SPD Write in the bios, usually it's disabled by default due to Windows security stuff.  Corsair sticks are alright but they're looser bins than gskill so you have a higher chance to get some worse chips, same with xpg.

Great!
Have you noticed if corsair are colder than gskill at the same oc and voltages?

apex and gskill arrived to me yesterday, I would like to try to go further but I have no cooling on ram and temperatures could get too high, at the moment they are like this:
ycuncher, memtest5, karhu stable

sorry i used it with g skill trident z rgb ddr4 and it always worked and I never had to do anything, neither enable SPD Write in the bios.
Now i bought these gskill ddr5 no-rgb so i don't know, now i'm still using open rgb for mb, wb cpu and gpu.
