Any changes with the recent 2.11 update? I understand that with the new CPU priority in-game setting, if changed from the default 'Auto' setting, causes micro-stuttering at the moment.

I know what the changes are in-game. I was just wondering if the new update caused any of the benchmarks in this thread to change much.

Hello!

now that i have a Gen 4000 RTX card i Tried this DLSS in AC: MIRAGE, TLOU and cyberpunk 2077 and its all blurry and mushy looking!
sure the frames go up! sure.. But even with sharpening on max! specially on TLOU >> looks awful! its just horrendous!

i decided to not use it this "fake  frame generator" cause has a long long way to go! doubt it will be much better in the 5000 gen!

i miss my old GTX 1080 Ti so much... there is nothing like brute and raw powerful rendering ...

I do think that the generated frame technology will be great in the future and is good now in some games but agree raw power is ideal since everything is exactly how it should be with no guess work.

I also fee the biggest flaw of generated games is people using them to try to make a game playable. It’s far easier for it to take a 90fps game and give it 144fps the to make 37fps look like 60fps.

I wonder if i am just blind cause when i use frame gen on my 4090 I don't notice it looking worse, i just notice a huge uplift of FPS.

@ 1440p i really notice in TLOU the blur!
oh its noticeable alright! i don't like to use dlss! i prefer to down the settings

either way the 4090 has enough raw power to run games without that!  or should have..

It’s probably the fact that the more pixels it has to work with in the original the better it is able to make a quality additional frame. When the source is like let’s say 1440p and your upscaling the it to 4K it’s a lot easier than making 1080p into 1440p. When we get into 8K with a 4K source it’s unlikely that a noticeable loss of quality would show up without the use of software to notice the difference.

Well i hope you are right!
because @1440p it sucks! simply not good! i don't like  it! i prefer Gpu raw power to dlss

4K seems to be the sweet spot for the present and future!
