I purchased my 980 kingpin on the 23rd, but the page says that I am not legible. I meet every guideline on the page. What gives?

Where did you purchase From? If it was from the EVGA.com store, you need to register your card and upload your receipt. If you purchased from any other site or store, you go through them. This is not an EVGA promotion, this is a NVidia promotion, and goes through the place of purchase, not the manufacturer.

So question, If I received a GTX 980 Ti as a gift, but no code, I am not elegible for this?
 
I don't even know where they bought the card, I just assumed amazon and put it when I registered my card.

No. Whomever purchased the card gets the code. If they don't give you the code, you don't get one.

I got the game for steam but I can't play it ye. is there any other way to play the game?
 

The game is not out yet, it comes out Sept. 1, you'll be able to preload a couple days before then so you don't have to download it all on release.

Cheers, I was just contacted via EVGA support and told its cause I bought it from a retailer and to contact them for a code... doesn't make any sense to me but I've contacted them also.

Soo, the promotion does not extend to the EU store?
After registering and uploading the invoice, the "Code/Messages" section says "For residents of the United States or Canada only."
 
EDIT! Contacted support about that issue, and its cleared now. EVGA Support is cool.

Yea I got my card from EVGA so I found out where to go to get my code but in all likelihood I won't use it.

if you are not going to use it, I'll give it a good home on my 980ti SC rig if you want to pass it on 

I got my card from Amazon on August 22 and got the code on August 23

Just to save Xray the trouble of having to post again. This is an NVIDIA promotion, not EVGA. So you have to get your MGS code from whoever you purchased the card from. If it's EVGA, then EVGA, Amazon = Amazon, Newegg = Newegg, and so on.

I got it from office max. so I guess it wont work.
 

I doubt that Office Max is doing the promo.
