Re: Pick Your Path Bundle 2014/12/31 19:12:11 (permalink)
Hello, Ive bought a EVGA GTX 970, Ive received my code from EVGA but when I go to use it the UBI soft servers just come up with "Server Error".
The EVGA end of this Promo was straight forward, but claiming the code at UBI soft end is impossible, there is no intructions at UBI softs end to give intructions to using the code either.
Is anyone else getting this "Server Error" as well?
Im selecting the game I want to get at Uplay Shop, and in the promo code section Im putting the code in, and it fails. Seems more like a UBI scam than a deal :-(
Thanks for any help.

Hello, I recently just purchased two EVGA GTX 780ti dual classified w/ evga hydro copper cooler GPUs of a supported Australian Seller (Umart). However I cannot seem to redeem any game codes.  I have followed the steps for qualifying for the game codes, registered the products ect. However when I go to the promotion webpage, the webpage states that I have no qualified products....However the promotion page specifically states that the GTX 780 ti is eligible. As does a number of the Australian retailers.

I really do not understand why I cannot redeem any game codes....

I purchased on the 2/10/2014.........

@otpulse
you can't use the code from EVGA directly at Ubi store.
you have to redeem it first at nVidia, the code you get form nVidia can then be used at the Ubi store.

@ Thanks for a reply, EVGA provided me with the code and yes i am going to the UBI soft shop web page( logged in with my account, but no matter what i do with any of the 3 games in the promotion (even tryed with digital & disc versions on all 3 games) when I enter the code it just loads "Server Error" and no error code number. I eventually found instructions on claiming codes on their web site, but still get the same Error.

did you redeem EVGA's code at nVidia first?

Yes, the code from EVGA does not apply to ubisoft. It applies to nvidia, so you must redeem the evga code at nvidia.com and then nvidia will provide you with the PCI your path bundle code. You take that code to ubisoft and redeem the code there, which will allow you to download the game.

You purchased these 2 October 2014? The difference in how people right dates can be confusing, so this is why I ask.

Which games specifically see you applying for? The Australian codes would come from the vendor, not from EVGA directly. All pick your path bundle are from the place of purchase, not the place of manufacture.

Instructions:

Purchase any graphics card from the qualifying list above on or after November 4th, 2014 from EVGA.com

You did not purchase from EVGA.com, you purchased from UMart, so UMart would have to be an authorized reseller in conjuction with nvidia, and the you provide you the code. Evga.com will not provide the codes, as they did not sell you the product directly.

If I purchase a 970 before the 20th of January, but don't upload the invoice or register the graphics card until after the 20th (since I am on holidays and probably won't receive the gpu until a few days after) , am i still able to claim the code?

Purchased a 970GTX on 17/1/2015 from a reseller advertising the pick-your-path promo, but because it's a weekend, the part likely won't arrive until after the expiry date. As the invoice states it was purchased prior to the expiry, do I still qualify for the code? Also, the reseller (PCCaseGear.com) specificially states that code must be redeemed from the manufacturer, not the reseller. I see in this thread conflicting information from the EVGA mods. Can someone provide clarification on this for me?

Cheers

Promo products must be redeemed from the manufacturer.
There are promo pages on evga.com where you can register your receipt after purchasing from the reseller.
After the receipt after approval by evga, you'll be sent the information required to redeem the products.

I did the same with my GTX770s, bought from PCCG too.

I registered and uploaded my invoice on the 11 of January 2015.  I still have not received a code from EGVA. Where can I inquire about my promo code that I am still waiting to receive?

Log into EVGA and return to the promo page where you uploaded the receipt.
It's possible the email may have not been sent or lost, but the code and instructions will always show on the promo page once approved.
Otherwise, just attach the receipt to an email when contacting EVGA support.

Thank you Fubarhouse. I resubmitted my invoice and I got the code in a matter of minutes. Downloading Farcry4 now :) I obviously did something wrong.

I only found out about this promotion last night when I was researching which card to choose, and have only just purchased it today. Is there any way I can still receive a code?

The date on the receipt is all that matters.
If a promotion is valid until or past the date on the invoice you're still applicable.
I'm not familiar with current promotions, but the principal is the same.

Hi Noobisaur & kisos,

Can you please email me the details along with the code so I can check into this for you?  Please also include the name of the game bundle you are trying to redeem.  My email address is rbaca@evga.com.

Thanks,
Rob

Hey,

I literally purchased my GTX 980 SC a day before the Witcher promotion started (29th March), I've uploaded the invoice and registered just in case. But is there a chance that I'll still get the code?

Thanks!

Uh so how does EVGA give out the game codes? I made sure to follow all the directions. I ordered from amazon by following a link from the nvidia offers page. The offer was codes for batman arkham knight and the witcher 3 with the purchase of an nvidia 900 series graphics card. I bought a 970, it came in the mail yesterday. I registered it and sent in a screencap of the amazon invoice.

Do they just send them to you email or what? I've never had to do this before.

You get the code from where you purchased the card. I would wait a week, and if you still don't have a code, then contact Amazon. After you get the code from them, you enter it at the following link to get the actual install game code:>  Link

*Also, the promo only covers certain model numbers. Make sure your card applies to the promo.

*Amazon's rules for this promotion:

To receive the bonus with purchase:
1. Add qualifying products described in the promotion to your Shopping Cart via the Add to Cart button
2. We will send you an e-mail with the free redemption code and instructions to redeem within 7-10 business days after the product ships.

Terms and Conditions The promotion applies only to products sold by Amazon.com. It does not apply to the same products sold by other sellers.  Promotion applies to orders placed on or after May 5, 2015. Limited-time offer; while supplies last.

Thanks you for the reply and you're exactly right. I double and triple checked and the model number of my card is included in the promotion. Like you said it can take a week or two for them to send out the code. It was in some fine print that I didn't see when I ordered the card.

Again, thanks a lot for your help.

Contact Nvidia for Nvidia promotions. This isn't an EVGA promotion, so they won't be adding anything. You have to read the Nvidia rules.

I submitted a support ticket and have not received any response I figured I'd post here.

I recently bought a GTX-980 card and can not get my EVGA profile to show a qualifying product for the Witcher 3 promo. I sumbitted a pic of the purchase reciept as required, but still nothing. I bought this from the EVGA store.

What to do next?

Thanks

Call EVGA if you can, and let them know.

You should be able to look on the Witcher promotion page, and it should... Should... Show the registered item. How long ago did you submit for it?
