Updated to Windows 11 22H2 and the sound card still works, but the EQ software won't open.  Since that's the only way I know of to enable my speakers instead of just my headphones...I currently can't use my speakers.  Is there an update coming or is there another way to enable the speakers?

Unistall all drivers, and try install the Audio Driver - EVGA NU Audio 0.2.1.10

I have done this, it still will not open.  I've actually done it a few different times.  First I just tried reinstalling, then I fully removed and reinstalled (with reboots in between of course.)  The EQ software still will not open in Windows 11 22H2.

No worries thanks LeeM!  To be clear, the card works...i just can't use the control panel so I can't change anything but Windows default volume controls (can't enable/disable headphones/speakers, use EQ, etc)

Hey, Lee!  Did you happen to hear anything from them?  As it stands I can only use my headphones because I can't enable the speakers. :(

I hate to ask, but have you checked the system tray to see if it auto launches there?

Haha no worries.  Yes, I have, it's not there though .  Happy to have someone take a look if you'd like.  Interestingly, Task Manager shows NUA.exe running but it's not accessible in any way.  I can end the task and restart it, nothing opens at all.  I've uninstalled/reinstalled multiple times to no avail (restarts in between of course).  Is this not replicable on the most recent build for anyone else?

At this time, I can't replicate it on my test bench with the same OS build you have, and our R&D team can't replicate it either.

Since it seems like it began around the time you updated Windows, I would see if you could roll back the update.  I also hate to say it, but reinstalling Windows tends to fix this issue more than it probably should.

Thanks for looking into it.  This *is* actually a fresh windows install so that really sucks.  Good to know you can't replicate it, at least...means it must be on my end.

Hey, Lee, I'm back.  I'm now getting this after a lot more troubleshooting and even yet another fresh install.  Any thoughts?

This usually is only needed if there's a mismatch on the configuration file and the version you're using, so it's strange that you'd need it right after the install.

Happy to hear that you're back up and running.

Thanks, Lee!  It might be worth having the uninstall remove that folder...would have saved me (and many others in this forum who experienced the same or similar issues, it seems) a lot of headaches!  But at least now I know and can enjoy this great card again!

I'm having the same issue except with the pro drivers. It shows up in the system tray briefly and then disappears. I'm on the most recent Insider Preview build, 25272 but it's been happening for a few builds now. I'm going to see if removing the Appdata folder fixes it as with the previous poster but here's the errors I got from event viewer.

Can confirm deleting the NUAPro Appdata folder fixed it for me as well.
I have the folder in case you want to look at it.

Thanks! This worked for me too, after an upgrade to Win 11 22H2. I had totally forgotten about that fix.
Lee, could you please ask your engineers to look into whether a future release of the program can carry out this repair itself if it detects a problem at start-up.
