don't know whats going on. I click on the game, get a quick window say 'it appears COD ....and some other stuff. its goes away to fast to read and then nothing. screen is still sitting at desktop. thing ive tried so far. one other thing though. I have a star wars game installed as well, and it starts just fine
format drive. install steam then game
couple sets of gpu drivers.
checked router settings
restored global and program settings to default in NCP
checked firewall settings. both steam and the game are 'checked"
set mobo back to default
any ideas?

thanks steve. forgot to mention I tried that as well.
sajin.. where do I find this setting?
In the games main install directory. You have to right click the games .exe to find it.

thanks sajin. I was able to play one game. then it quit/crashed back to desktop. ran compatibility troubleshooter and it started up again, but game froze with a sound like calling a fax number by accident. very loud squeals/cracks/pops. this has actually been happening before all my other troubles started

not when I had AB running. just the power target. I thought mabey that was part of the prob so I uninstalled it

Try setting your ram speed to 2133 MHz with the correct voltage & timings to see if that helps anything or not.

Have you restarted the computer recently and checked for Windows and driver updates? Sound like a fax is interesting to have happen.

try looking up some startup properties on google it helps with disabling splash menus and so on :)

Hey, you can just check for the system requirement of the game and then try to install in again. My friend recently purchased a new game from Instant-gaming online store where he got the installation key and the video that explained the proper configuration required for the game. You can also to Call of Duty World War 2 kaufen from www.instant-gaming.com/de and know about the installation of the game.
