This happen over and over that everyone wants to blame EVGA because of NVIDIA.
I would concur that EVGA is not to be cast as the 'bad guy' in the room. NVIDIA is clearly in command of the promotion. If your product is still in transit with the courier, clearly it is not in your possession, and somehow falls into the 'purchasing window' for product promotion purposes. That is all on NVIDIA, and no one else... Check out their webpage: NVidia is clearly spearheading the promotion...and consequently widening that to AIB partners, of which there are many, EVGA happening to be one of them. If your going to play the "HUN", via Battlefield V, you should at least go TEUTONIC on the right guys!   Cheers

I would take that further up the 'chain of command' and clarify the response...
Clearly if your product is still in transit, with the courier, this would appear as a part of 'purchasing window'.
IE one couldn't even have registered the product for warranty purposes, even if you wanted to!

Um, the purchase window was when the financial transaction was made. Yes, I get the payment was taken while the other party didn't have their purchased product yet but the only window I see is when you hit buy and sent them money as a purchase order. I don't think it's right bending the rules while you're constantly moving the goal posts and leaving everyone else in the dark.

One could have purchased a card directly from Asus, Gigabyte, MSI, etc. or any number of other manufacturers.
We are here because we recognized EVGA as a reliable AIB manufacturer and wanted what we perceived as a superlative product; otherwise we wouldn't have spent scads of cash on the EVGA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti FTW3 ULTRA GAMING, 11G-P4-2487-KR, 11GB GDDR6, iCX2 & RGB LED 2
Regardless, at the end of the day you still have a great card...

So if you check out NVidia's webpage they are advertising the Battlefield V promotion on their lineup but they are saying they are sold out of the 2080Ti RTX card. So how does one take advantage of the promotion given the stock issue in the run up to Black Friday and/or Christmas season is so spotty.
Seems to me NVIDIA should be honoring the promo given the difficult supply issue for the rollout of this card.
It would appear a bit of a 'come on' to advertise a product with highly spotty availability and then not give out the game codes for otherwise reasonable patrons.

eVGA is awesome  . I received my FTW3 today and just got done registering it. I went to the page where you can submit a ticket for a Battlefield V code and it was immediately approved.

Be patient until there is stock, then buy. The promo isn’t going to end in a couple of days. They usually run the promo for a month or more. *pro tip* even when there is a limited supply a game codes, if they aren’t selling cards, they aren’t giving out codes.

You almost seem bitter about evga giving codes to those that didn’t meet nvidia’s exact criteria for the promotion.

Some people just baffled me with the way they do things..
I agree the risk of voiding the warranty on a $1400 GPU for a $60 game definitely isn’t worth it in my eyes. Not sure if that’s what would happen but I don’t know and didn’t want to find out. It’s not I couldn’t buy the game I actually signed up for Origin Access to try it. I’m actually glad I didn’t buy it now as the cutscenes in the campaign were stuttering really bad. The one match of multiplayer I played was a lot of fun though.

It is a NVIDIA Promotion so you have to create an account if you want to use your New Game Code. You could always create an account on NVIDIA's website and ask them if there is a workaround for your Code.

Code will be wasted if you don’t create the account. Make a different email just for your nvidia account, then use that to register this and future games. You will likely have to load GeForce experience to be able to use the code, so load it, create the account, redeem the code, delete GeForce experience from your pc.. problem solved.

It shouldn’t have to be the same email. Once you log into nVidia it’ll prompt you to log into Origin and lets you enter your user name and password.
