I've tried many a "gaming" chair and to be honest they all sucked.

Same here.
I've had one of the Hermann Miller Aeron chairs for over a decade.
They're not expensive.  But they're the most comfortable chair I've ever sat my over-large backside into.

I think they are quite expensive - nearly $1,400 each, although I see they have them for $1,185 right now. I think we paid about $900 or so for each of our ones at home, but that was years ago now - and they are still in perfect condition despite being used every day of the year for all that time. Well worth it imo.

Definitely return the chair if it's been only a couple weeks. Get your money back and grab the chair that best fits you.

Only watch out for if it will make you too short for the desk!

I've heard many complaints about Secret Labs chairs, but this has yet to be one. I'm right with everyone else here: At least see about getting it replaced. Preferably swap it for a proper office/task chair.

Are you still growing where you might actually grow into the chair? If not I'd definitely exchange it. As frustrating as that is to hear.

I have a secret labs batman chair. And they are very comfortable. But it's gotta fit you.

a $1000 chair is kinda cheap compared to how long you use it for... compared to a $1000 graphics card...

finally got an herman miller embody.. worth it

also ergonomically.. chair should be relative to your desk height.. and if your feet doesnt touch the ground... not completely the chair's fault and you just need a foot rest.

I bought the Titan XL for myself and my wife, we are larger people and having the durability helped. Yeah, these gaming chairs are marked up to all hell but apparently all large durable chairs that are slightly comfortable are also marked up to all hell.

A couple hundred is a lot to spend on a chair for me and I heard a lot of bad things about "gaming chairs". I went to office max recently and spent a good while sitting in different chairs until I narrowed it down to the one that felt the best. Ended up getting a Serta and its great.

Those tend to be expensive and depending on the model fall apart after a year or 2. I have had bad luck with them.

I got a titan chair as well and what I did was bought an ergonomic foot rest. That's what I would suggest pretty much regardless if you spend a lot of time at your desk.

Mem: Corsair Vengeance LP 3000mhz

To be honest, I regret buying my Secret Lab Titan. But it was a major improvement from the old Office Depot chair I previously had that lasted me about 8 years.

The seat cushion is too thin, so when I sit down I can tell there is only about 2 inches of give before it bottoms out to the hard plastic base.

There's absolutely ZERO back support, so I tend to have to get up and walk around and stretch a bit because otherwise my back starts to get sore. The added memory foam pillow that you can use for your back, does absolutely nothing for support other than to make you slump in your chair, further adding to eventual discomfort.

Its actually sitting in a corner of my office holding up some random boxes. I replaced it with my Laz-E-Boy recliner. SOOOOO much better. The only problem, is I now have a problem of falling asleep.

I've gotten more comfort out of a Recaro racing bucket seat in my track car than this thing.

I also have the titan but cant say the same. Did you check out the recommended weight for it? You are probably too heavy for the model you got and thats why you are feeling the hard plastic. There is a knob on the side the adjust the backrest as well. The pillow is meant for head/neck support. Dont forget your back is supposed to have an S form.

You could ask if they offer any other kind of gas spring for this chair to get it shorter.

They also include measurement recommendations for their products. Take a look at these before you buy em!

I've been using a stolen Amazon office chair for 4 years and it's on it's last legs (literally, one of the caster arms is held together with JB Weld and prayers). Anyone know of an Executive-style chair that isn't leather? I used to have a Big & Tall corduroy chair from Office Depot but I donated it to my school when I went to college.

The titan is made for people 5'9" - 6'7", straight from their website. At 6'1" I considered one but ended up getting a SteelSeries Leap V2 instead from a local-ish used office furniture store. Been great so far. I had planned on an Aeron but it was a bit too pricey and didn't allow for "relaxed" poses like feet up, etc. I think I would have loved the Aeron for WFH/office setting more than the SteelSeries, though.

What height are you?  I like the looks of them, and would have likely chose a medium.

Before I got my titan I spent years in a cheap cloth chair that was literally made before I was born. Was starting out and an old neighbor died soooo.... ya know free is free and its for me

Toes cant touch on a medium jeez I have a large. Gotta wondered how short the OP is

~GAPS~ Holy frack Batman, there are people out there that are 5'9...  I mean, that's INSANE right???

I already clearly explained my toes reach the floor, but the rest of the foot doesn't.  This dangling effect causes the weird upturned lip of the front of the seat to cut into my hamstring (another idiotic design of the chair)

Jeez no need to be so triggered by it. Like others have pointed out the Titan is a chair exclusively marketed towards large and especially tall people comfortably seating up to a 6'7" 290lb giant. If your 5'9" and weigh 150 (average guess) your going to swim in a chair like that. The stiff seat foam will take much more weight to sit comfortably in that you can muster since it is made to take a nearly 300lb butt and your legs might be short since your barely meet the minimum height requirement. Heck maybe your legs are slightly shorter that the average 5'9" person. Also a bit confused on the "medium" Titan I thought maybe a missed something because I have the large, but nope. The Titan is rated for large only. The titan XL is rated up to 6'10" and 390lbs. But lets be honest there are many more gamers who weight over 290lbs than are over 6'7" tall. A better one for you would have been the Omega. People 5'4" to 5'10" find it a perfect fit. Actually for the height that's the default first option. You want a chair that can adjust slightly above and below your height.

Plus lets be honest. You sure your over 5'9" or are you rounding up, wearing shoes, or counting your hair. I'm looking at a reddit review from someone who weighed 147 and was 5'8.8" and their feet sat flat at the lowest height. If your feet cant even sit flat your legs are an inch shorter and id peg you closer to 5'7" - 5'8" and some exaggeration
