STR1D3R_2 10 times faster than a gtx 1060!! I may have to grab one of those
10x faster than a 2080Ti in Milkyway. Einstein it can go either way. There is an issue running it, it can go into a limp mode sometimes. But even in limp more at 38c and 60 watts it was faster by 50% than a 1080ti Have to lower power to -20 and lower the setting to 1700-1750 and it may work right, may not. Einstein is the only project that it does it in that I know of, not sure why it does it. Thread on their forum about VII

With a little OC I was doing 5 at a time all right around 50 sec, lowest one was 44. 50sec div by 5 = 10 sec a task.

the Collatz Conjecture runs nice on my Intel IGP. Uses less than 0.1 CPU thread, and the IGP is about twice as fast as my CPU. One of the few projects that also support Intel IGPs.

I'm running milkyway on RTX 2060 GPUs, and the max overclock on those (regular overclock = 100-150Mhz) on milkyway is 15-30Mhz. This makes my cards run at 2050Mhz. The power consumption is very similar to AMD for these projects, at 60-90W (I cap them off at 125W). When you define Milkyway tasks as '0.1 CPU', does it get different tasks? Because mine is set to like 0.9GPU (even if it actually uses less than 0.2GPU).

Need to know what Settings you are using in your app_config.xml file also you are not running Windows so you will not see the same. Your Computers are hidden so we have no way to compare and review your results. See Post #6 for the Wattage used for Milkyway 214 Watts @ 6 Tasks, it is not using 60-90 Watts. 0.9 is the Default but in the end it make no difference when running Milkyway the Settings that makes the Difference in the GPU Setting. Also the AMD Graphics Card is running Double Precision *** and your RTX 2060 is not running Double Precision. I Tested on my GTX and RTX Cards but this thread is really only about the AMD Graphics Card see Post #2 for results. Here are more Threads about POTM November - MilkyWay@home & MilkyWay@Home + GTX Titan = Double Precision & When to Use Double Precision under NVIDIA Control Panel Manage 3D SettingsBOINC app_config.xml file settings for GPU Projects & Multiple Tasks on GPU for HCC When running GPU Tasks you only get GPU Tasks Milkyway @ home Separation v1.46 (opencl_nvidia_101) windows_x86_64 Application details ShowAn AMD Graphics Card will get a Different Task Link Milkyway @ home Separation v1.46 (opencl_ati_101) windows_x86_64 Application details ShowUbuntu 18.04.3 LTS Milkyway@home Separation v1.46 (opencl_nvidia_101) x86_64-pc-linux-gnu ResultsYou can compare your NVIDIA RTX 2060 to my GTX 1080 Link to compare or my AMD Graphics Card here Link Look under "Task click for details" under Stderr output My Settings used are listed for my AMD & NVIDUA Graphics Cards as posted in #2 for the Settings used and Results. *** Double Precision is also why I wanted this Graphics Card for Running BOINC Projects.

Re-Running Milkyway to post the usage and wattage used. Tasks Run time 53 sec CPU time 2 sec (Tasks Dated 10 Dec 2019 or After) About 15 Watts Per Task for a total of 210 Watts. GTX Tasks 3 Tasks Per GPU Run time 3 min 35 sec CPU time 1 min 46 sec Run time 2 min 42 sec CPU time 52 sec I do not have an RTX 2060 Graphics Card so I can only Run and Post showing results of a RTX 2080 Ti Graphics Card. I match the AMD to run 6 Tasks Per GPU, Normal is 4 Tasks. 6 is to much for a Non Double Precision Graphics Card. Link and they are coming back as Validation inconclusive and why I only run 4 Tasks. Stopping and set back to 4 or 0.25. Run time 6 min 21 sec CPU time 5 min 27 sec Application details Show About 28.8 Watts Per Task for a total of 173 Watts.
