These are the newest bios updates for the 02G-P4-2776 right? What is the bios version of these. I just want to make sure if I need to flash these or not once I receive my 770s

A revision number would be great so I know if it is worth updating my BIOS or not.

Has there been any official word on a new bios for single bios cards yet? I see a few have asked. In the works? No?

If someone who has these updated BIOSes could upload those with GPU-Z or whatever, I guess they would work with single bios cards also, right?
Looks like there isn't going to be any support for these cards from EVGA (nice), so any help would be greatly appreciated.
I've already tried several different BIOSes with my GTX 760, downloaded from http: //www. techpowerup.com/vgabios/index.php?architecture=&manufacturer=&model=GTX+760&interface=&memType=&memSize=2048 , but they don't really make things any better.

You can download any available BIOSes directly from the EVGA website. If you are looking for a modded BIOS then EVGA won't be of any help and none of us with Dual BIOSes will be able to give you anything you can't already get your hands on.

EDIT: I didn't realize that EVGA only makes BIOSes available for download to those who have a registered Dual BIOS card. I would say techpowerup is your best bet. You can also try forums like Guru3D and overclock.net, there are many good threads on the topic.

Hello,
I bought the

02G-P4-2762-KR 760gtx nvidia evga

http://www.evga.com/Products/Product.aspx?pn=02G-P4-2762-KR

and with its newest drivers its extremly noise. Even my friends are mentioning it -.-"
Unfortunatelly I can´t find a Bios Update. I´m blind or something?
Would be great if someone could help me further.

thank you :)

Solution: It wasn´t the GPU Cooler but it wasn´t the CPU Cooler either. It was the small cooler under the Alienwarehead in
front of the PC which startet to get louder than bevor. Probably because the 760 get hotter than my older 555.

Actually one method you can use to get one of those BIOSes is to download the desired file from softpedia,
then use a hex editor to rip the BIOS rom file from the executable. I tried it and it worked, however even the
31% yields a minimum of ~1150 RPM. So I opted for an MSI BIOS instead which gives minimum 900 RPM
and is much quieter.

Does the MSI BIOS work well for you otherwise? I've pretty much tried everything out by now, some of them work well while on idle, but if the GPU is under load, the fan goes either to turbine mode or I just get artifacts after a while. I guess I could try that one out again.

Thanks for your posts!

Yes it does! I haven't experienced any artifacts. I have a big case with good ventilation. Under load the max temps of my card is ~59-64 degrees Celsius. I would recommend dual fan model BIOSes because their fan curve is subtle. For example the HAWK one: 2013-08-01 80.04.C4.00.2C in techPowerUp.

anyone happen to know where the dual bios switch is for the gtx 760 sc w/ acx cooler? (part number 02G-P4-3765-KR) it came with a backplate and i kind of feel like the backplate might be blocking the switch? either that, or it's hidden towards the back of my card under the optical drive slot in my case, since i did a mini itx build in a corsair 250d. i'm definitely not seeing the switch in any of the visible places on the back, though.

Re: BIOS update for select 770/760 Double BIOS SKU's 2014/02/27 16:46:50 (permalink)
I just installed a 02G-P4-2774-KR (not a dual bios card) and the thing is insanely loud at idle as soon as Windows boots. Louder than my last card under heavy load. At least 5-10x louder than it was idle. Apparently there's no way to drop it from the 41% minimum it's currently running at, so should I return it before it's too late and not bother registering it?

From looking around here and elsewhere apparently it's a big issue and I was totally unaware of it. Also, does the EVGA Precision X program even work with this card? I tried manually adjusting the fan speed from 41% to 100% to compare and there's no change in sound whatsoever. Other programs like nvidia inspector confirm the adjusted 100% fan speed, but again no change. Is the card defective? Why is 41% so loud and as loud as 100%? Is it always running at 100% and being reported wrong at 41%? Because there is literally no difference in sound this thing is creating. Super loud all the time.

Have you looked to see if one of the fans are stuck? Also, use your camera on your phone to record the fans. The camera only record at a certain fps, so should slow the fan down a little, like when recording a helicopter and seeing the blades barely moving.. See if you can see a difference after adjusting fan speed and then hitting apply.

ELPIDIA.

And why does this one need an update?

ELPIDIA. Ya that's it thank you. well Update so it can use memory in SLI surround. 314.22 327.32. drivers always work for SLI Surround. newer drivers are to demanding I think its because I got duped buy having Samsung ddr5 and  ELPIDIA ddr5 on cards that suppose to be the same. I not sure if its the cuase of none SLI support but its the only thing I found that can explain it .

I look at as like dual memory has to be the same so do the cards right? well the cards are the same but the hard wares different
same brand same version same store same self I think that is about perfect on my end lol but I cant see any other flaw.

I think that is NVidia not EVGA. you didn't get duped into buying different memory, it's just how it is required to be done as one manufacturer for memory can not make enough. For overclocking purposes, it may have made a difference, but it shouldn't have an effect on SLI capabilities.

I don't blame anyone really .But not being my first ride on the reasons why cards do or don't do what I want.
My first mixing and linking cards. My first date mixing cards was "2x voodoo 2 PCI 12mg accelerators" Cross linked and the feed source was a" VooDoo AGP 8MB" playing quack 2 and unreal . I have even linked then from separate computers . Day when you could be brutal .

Ya the only not perfect thing about my setup is the fact that the memory doesn't match .  The more I think About it the more I see a problem when using the different ddr5 mem . I bet they are very different . I will find out in a moment when I grab the data.

oh SLI surround yes when it demands perfection. but SLI max it runs great. I need SLI surround.

Bringing this back up... I have a B-Stock version of the 02G-P4-2776-KR and don't see the download link.  I contacted support and was told there is no update for my card.

Can anyone tell me if the B-Stock cards are handled differently?  It's the same card, right, the BIOS should work on it?
