On Friday I upgraded from 3090 Kingpin to 4090 Suprim Liquid X and had no issues of any kind with v2.08 BIOS. Everything is still working fantastic.

Bios update V 2.08 worked like a charm for me I have video and can now finish up my build

I wish there would have been an 4090 FTW3 or Kingpin GPU. Kind of hated giving my money to MSI. But, I am glad that I haven't had any of the issues that 4090 FE and Zotac 4090 owners have run into. I am very pleased with all of my EVGA products, especially the Z690 Dark.

SP rating is only on ASUS mobos.

Please note that this is a Beta BIOS, but it is stable enough for those of you who wish to test to give it a shot. 
 
BIOS 2.08 (E699 DARK K|NGP|N / E698 Classified)

  • Updates CPU microcode to 10E and provides microcode option 105 (105 version has lower VID value)
  • Supports CPU 13900KS OC table.
  • Supports CPU 13100.
  • Adds undervolt protection item (Microcode 10E only).
  • Adds CPU power limit item.
  • Improves memory stability.

Please let the BIOS team know that I (and probably many others) thank them for making the EVGA default 4096W rather than the crippled Intel default power limit. That is wonderful. It's good for anyone that wants to power limit their CPU for some reason to have that ability with the new menu item, but I really am glad I don't have to deliberately max it out manually.
 
It would be nice if the BIOS values for virtualization, TVB options, TPM and Secure Boot to all be set to disabled by default.


I'm glad EGVA team included the CPU power limit feature on the BIOS. For daily use, I don't need to squeeze my CPU (13900K).

Except if you set the Pl1 and PL2 limits to default the board will significantly downclock the CPU whilst all my other boards will use 60+ less watts and not downclock even with a capped pl1-pl2
