Adds official support for 13th Gen Intel Core Series processors, some additional features, and bug fixes. BIOS 2.01 (E699 DARK K|NGP|N / E698 Classified)
- Adds support for 13th Gen Intel Core Series processors.
- Adds DDR5 PMIC per DIMM control.
- Adds secondary smart mode (Standard & Advanced) for additional smart fan control points and function.
- Misc. fixes for ADL & RPL platform issues.
Note - if using you're using a 12th Gen ADL processor and experience issues, we recommend flashing back to BIOS version 1.15 and letting us know below.
Windows Installation- Download the correct .zip file below for your motherboard:
121-AL-E699-KR - EVGA Z690 DARK K|NGP|N - v2.01 121-AL-E698-KR - EVGA Z690 CLASSIFIED - v2.01- First go into your BIOS and load defaults, save and exit
- Close all open programs.
- Go into the folder where you unzipped this package and double-click update.bat
- Press Y to start the flash process
- DO NOT TURN OFF POWER OR RESET DURING THE FLASH PROCESS
- After the flash is finished, the system will automatically shut down. Power on the system again and go into BIOS and adjust settings as needed.
- NOTE: If flash box immediately closes after flash attempt, the flash may need to be run from a CMD prompt with administrator privileges or DOS version.
BIOS Installation- Extract the contents of .zip file to USB flash drive (must be formatted as FAT32)
- Reboot the machine and go into the system BIOS
- From the BIOS, navigate to the EXTRAS tab at the upper left and click on "BIOS Update"
- Select the .bin file you wish to flash.

Faith restored!! Will test tonight with my 13900K. Did you guys manage to make any improvements in regards to memory OC or use of A-Die? My Hero board can now run 7000 CL34 with a terrible SP55 12600K and rock bottom IMC. Really hoping I can push my 13900K IMC with this BIOs.

Z690 Dark + 12900KS here
Still no A-die optimizations yet. 1.15 seems better at the moment.

Ucode broken? I couldn't get windows to post on nvme slot 1. Had to re install windows on nvme slot 2. Please fix this issue.

After updating BIOS to 2.01 I can no longer get to the BIOS at all. This is with a 4090 FE and 12900K. I had to go into windows with Default settings and flash back to 1.15 in Windows. Back on 1.15 I can get to BIOS again on bootup.

Testing the new BIOS with my Z690/13900K and not having any issues so far. Will update after I do some extensive testing.

Can confirm new bios on Classified is better than 1.15 Now board can boot 6800(previous max 6667) and managed to get 6600 stable thing that worked was VDD2 = TX VDDQ 1.3v

Personally, I always grab the ME firmware updates from here. It's never failed me. On that note, just updated firmware and booted up just fine with my 12900k. Updating the ME now. Edit. All updates went without a hitch. Now to test some stability by continuing the MWII campaign. :-D

Can we get a new version of the overclocking software? Does not seem to work with this BIOS or 13900K. It’s making tuning a pain needing to reboot each time.

random letters when switching to per pmic control, also for some reason i do not need to use extreme voltage mode to go above 1.435v when i switch to per pmic control(colors dont change either).

system hangs post code 52 after changing SA from a loaded profile. clearing cmos and changing SA works, but cant do it on the fly. i am on 12900KS with MDIE 6600 kits.

Try downclocking the memory to between 6600-7000 and see if you're still stuck.

I installed the new bios for raptor lake. But For some reason my cpu voltage is stuck at .8v and doesn’t go above 2400mhz. Specs are 13700kf z690 classified.

I tried with the USB that came with the motherboard, downloaded 2.01 bios and renamed it to EVGAE698.bin on the stick, but no joy.

Same. Can't post above 7200 CL32 even with increased voltages. 12900KS on old BIOS would post 7800. Even my Z690 Hero with 13900K can post 7600 CL34 with TForce A-Dies. Something is amiss. Also found that when I disabled some P cores for testing, and did individual OC with core ratio, when I re-enabled the P cores again, they don't show up on the core ratio list anymore even though they're active. Had to restore an old profile to let the core ratios return to "0" and then they showed up again. Very odd bug.
