I bought the Kingston Value Ram 2666MHz 8GB, used it on Classified-K with 8700, the debug codes shown the same results, 0A, 14, 15, 25, 49, etc.

I also Intel 9100F, Gigabyte B365M-DS3H, powered by the same PSU Antec Truepower Classic 650, paired with old display card GT9500, work well.

I then tested the 8700, 9700K and 2x8 Gb Corsair Vengeance LPX CMK16GX4M2E3200C16 on Gigabyte MB, and confirmed all of them are in prefect condition.

Is the kingston memory you bought on the z370 classified k memory compatibility list? If no, it could still be a memory issue.

I want to stress that, the  2x8 Gb Corsair Vengeance LPX CMK16GX4M2E3200C16 is not on the compatible list as well, however, it worked once. After I pressed the "Clear Bios", it didn't work.

Sajin, many thanks for your advice.

Btw, the Kingston Value Ram is KVR26N19S8/8, 2666MHz, CL19, 8GB, it has a lower spec. which shall compatible with most MB.

No problem. Give the ram I suggested a try. If it doesn't help your problem then the board clearly has a problem.

I updated to 1.14, and i got a CMOS checksum error.  gave me options to skip or goto bios set up.  and I can no longer boot into windows in UEFI mode, and i'm stuck on LEGACY.  Is there anyway to fix the bios so I can boot into windows in UEFI mode

If you can only boot into windows using legacy mode then that means you need to reinstall windows using uefi mode as that is the only way to boot with uefi mode enabled.

  • Update CPU Microcode and add OC Support for future CPU

what does this mean exactly? which "future CPU" did this add support for? I ask because I do not see any CPU in the CPU support page that requires this bios version 1.12.

does this BIOS support the 9900KS? I do not see it listed in the support sheet, though it may be out of date.

If not, when can we expect an updated BIOS for 9900KS support?

Also checked... it seems that both Z370 FTW & Classified don't support 9900KS yet but only Z390 series...

KF and the KS chips.  For i9-9900KS, you need to use these for support:

E375 - v1.12
E377 - v1.13
E379 - v1.14

why can't I minimize the drop in VCore Droop by 100% ? only 75% of my 9700K Revision R0 (SRG15) does not like drops very much, also avx offset works incorrectly the frequency falls even when the mouse moves! I have the latest firmware 134-KS-E379-KR-EVGA Z370 Classified K-v1. 14 all other companies have already configured these parameters a long time ago, and you can't?

What would you understand I install Core ratio 49, ring ratio 43, vCore 1.320, Vcore vdroop -75% - min droop and avx offset 2, the cores should keep 4.9 without avx and 4.7 with avx instead they fail to 4.7 even when the mouse moves, with avx 0 naturally there are no dips. Extreme OC mode > enabled! buy it and test it yourself if you don't believe me!

why can't I also push the temperature mode 15 degrees forward like asus did? > ie 115 degrees maximum temperature, why don't you want to modify your BIOS yourself ???

it makes me think what's the point of taking an evga Board for overclocking if I can't go beyond the temperature range set by the manufacturer and frequency indicators?

VRM does not allow you to go beyond 90W although everything is turned on to the maximum and off power saving, Extreme OC mode enabled!
why can't I remove the power limit as the ASUS?

the sound drivers do not work correctly, the Sound Blaster Recon3d driver is installed correctly! Problem: after rebooting, all the effects enabled by default disappear, namely the "SBX Pro Studio" base Win 10 x64 1909

I have 2x8 Gb Corsair Vengeance LPX CMK16GX4M2E3200C16, 8700 and 9700k, Verbatium Vi550 S3 SSD 512GB, no PCI-E device.

I am thinking to buy ONE "Kingston Value Ram 2666MHz 8GB" and have a try before sending it back to Taiwan for RMA. Would this RAM fit?

What happened beckscum? Can you report back? Did you resolve this issue? If so, how?

Our motherboard support is Killer NIC E2500 network on LAN!
I don't use LAN network cos my router is miles away from my rig lol but I do use M.2 Killer Wireless AC 1550 which it save me buying long LAN cable!
You need download latest version for your Killer LAN here > Killer NIC E2500.

But I always use Driver Booster 7 which it is brilliant and this software will help you download very Latest Version software which we can't find in Website! So Driver booster do rest.
It exactly same to Intel Driver & Support Assistant.
They both software are really good and no need to confuse which software driver for your motherboard so it let you rest and it will download latest Version and update for you!!!

I did a little test
there are 3 versions from EVGA 9.0.0.45 from killer 9.0.0.50 and WHQL (also from killer puts Windows 10) 9.0.0.49
9.0.0.45 > stable but old, located on the Evga site
9.0.0.49 > WHQL, the most stable, productive, produced 20.09.2018
9.0.0.50 > killer downloaded from the site, unstable, loses speed, a lot of unnecessary services, services, no WHQL certificate, killer-control-center application is useless. produced in 2020, they should work on their drivers
everywhere connected double cable Killer DoubleShot Pro, fiber connection terminal, router 100\100 Mbit/s rj 45

no, it didn’t help, as soon as I put WHQL 9.0.0.49 everything works fine, I’ll stay on it, but the last driver from the killer is unstable, it cuts the speed > 9.0.0.50

and so I found a fix for this speed drop support.killernetworking.com/knowledge-base/slow-speeds-and-trouble-accessing-websites-with-advanced-stream-detect-enabled/
but still the standard driver that installs Windows I think it's better this > 9.0.0.49 (20.09.2018) Rivet Networks

I also conducted an experiment with all the sound drivers for creative_recon3di they all start to work not correctly including the modified one from Pacman it starts to wheeze over time (sound), the driver that loads windows is good\problem-free I did not update it but just rolled the Sound Blaster Recon3Di Control Panel and left the standard driver that puts windows, all other drivers with errors and bad sound, if you update the driver above 6.0.101.1055 (08.09.2017), it will not work correctly or will appear wheezing

You can say that the drivers that evga offers on its website I strongly do not recommend, they are not tested on this Board (windows 10 1909) and do not work correctly

Sorry to hear! I still using latest Version for Recon 3Di with no issues for long time! In any games have no problem with this or other Windows Apps! I used SPDIF output to my Logitech Z906 5.1.
Maybe you still using fast start up in Windows are enable? Do disable this and hope solve your problems!

What I said before here.. have you try this below

Yes I use fast startup and why should this be a problem for a modern motherboard? I output audio via a 3.5 mm Jack to my headphones, so I can hear any sound deviations

1. COLD boot every thing in the in bios setting  that looks like a sleep function (if not a laptop computer) - will save you from having problems later. - as said above :-)

2. UPS because the power is always fine  tell you do a Firmware update.

3. Killer software - I am now setting up a few NEW Z370 Classifieds K  and will also test  Killer software again. I made a few change last year on my first Z370 because of strange DSLreports speed test number.
Thanks for test the version

4. EVGA Z370 MB are still on sale ( at least I got one directly from EVGA last week ) be nice if they still had there own section - as this topic and z370 bios information is in Z390 area.

5. AND YES the new motherboard (Z370 Classified K) came with OLD BIOS 1.07 ( 2 years old )  and not 1.12  ,but we all keep an extra Intel G5400 in out back pocket -right :-) $50.00 new at microcenter.

who is interested here is a modified BIOS for Z370 Classified K, all thanks can be expressed "Lost_N_BIOS" it also updated on my request Update ALL CPU Microcodes, Intel RST, ME FW (at your own risk)
win-raid.com/t5574f16-REQUEST-Hide-Specific-BIOS-Options-for-EVGA-Z-Classified-K-1.html#msg109178

It works very well and has been tested by me, it has a lot of settings in contrast to the original BIOS

nah the sound is still unstable =(
after switching off on the sound depth disappears (all paging files are disabled, and quick activation is disabled)

the latest driver for ethernet is also not stable

Make a fix for the BIOS! incorrect training IOL should be 6-7 (you can not change it) and it is on 12-14 someone on 14-14 will issue a fix for this!?
overclocking without training makes no sense
a couple of screenshots

if you train incorrectly, tuning timings makes no sense
IOLs should be 6-7

You can release a hotfix for this error? I want a response from the developers, 3 screenshots from 3 different people

or release an update and allow you to configure the RTL block yourself and not just for reading
