Excuse me for interrupting. I was browsing the net for BF3 info, as I have recently purchased the Premium Edition for 70$ and was hoping to find some info about its release date. Now I have played every BF title to date, with the exception of BC1 and 2 and BF3. I competed in BF1942, Vietnam, BF2 and 2142. I have avoided BF3 for numerous reasons, mainly being burned out by BF and burned to often by EA.
This Premium Edition is what is going to get me into the game. As a long time gamer and specifically BF gamer (I never played a CoD title, since the first one) it was just what I was waiting for and I know many of my friends from games I currently play are now joining the ranks as well.
My point is that there are as many positives and negatives regarding this action by EA. I am not now nor ever been an EA fanboi, but when they make the right moves to draw in more player, how can that be a bad thing?
