The only updates we are getting is from the people that have preordered and I would prefer it to come straight from EVGA so their is nothing is misunderstood.

What's the rush ? It'll probably have to be send back because of a design flaw anyways, and then afterwards you get to open it up to apply a thermal patch mod...

Anybody preordered a card and is from the uk. I've read this article about PayPal's high currency exchange rate well you can go in to settings on PayPal and change it so it bills you in the invoiced currency and lets your bank deal with the rates and which are a lot cheaper than PayPal. Here's the article The trick is to make Paypal bill you in the original sale's currency and let your bank handle the conversion at market rate. To do this, go to https://www.paypal.com/uk...-funding&buyer_hub and click 'Conversion Options' next to your funding source. On the next page, change the selected option to 'Bill me in the currency listed on the seller's invoice' - don't worry about Paypal's scaremongering text about this, your bank/credit card likely handles this at market rates and doesn't add a further few percent for profit. Then just make your purchases knowing you'll be getting billed the exact market rate and not lining Paypal's pockets. Do make sure to check your bank's rate if any above the daily date.

Hi skooby, I made the mistake of accepting PayPals conversion rates at the time I pre-ordered (EU Site) Obviously I thought I'd get billed at market rates, and was in a rush at the time. I am from the UK, with a UK bank account, and pre-ordered from the EU site in Euros. Anyways, I have already gone through the pre-order process, and accepted the rate I was given at the time (second round of pre-orders). How do I change that now? If I log into my PayPal account, I don't see any options to manage conversion settings for my funding sources. I figured EVGA would automatically take the money out from my PayPal account as soon as my card is ready to ship, and I wouldn't confirm anything at that point (it would just happen) If possible I'd like to change the rate I was offered now, let my bank handle conversions.

I bet you could use customer support at Paypal to change that option, they have been helpful to me ion the past, or maybe call/chat with EVGA and have them change your method of payment temporarily then redo the Paypal transaction. I travel to Europe on a weekly basis and I always use local currency and have my bank convert it.

Hey thanks for suggestion :) I'll try contacting PayPal first, not sure if I would mess up my pre-order by changing evga payment methods at this stage, it has been a long wait THUS FAR :D

Hi skooby,

From what I'm led to believe is as it does not show up on our PayPal accounts showing that we have a preorder with evga or even how much it is. As I always use PayPal to preorder in uk and I get an additional invoice from PayPal saying that I've given permission for so and so company to take funds etc. But not with evga preorder leading me to believe it's not invoiced by PayPal yet we've just given evga the permission but it's not yet gone through the PayPal process if you know what I mean? We will probably get the PayPal invoice few days before dispatch. So If you change it to bill me in invoiced currency We should be billed in euros But it's worth contacting PayPal for piece of mind. I will contact them myself as I'm no expert on this sort of stuff. But make sure your logged in to PayPal then go back to the link I put up and it will take you straight to the currency's page. As If you click it and you have to sign in it doesn't take you to page for some reason.
