The X27 can support Full 4K resolutions at up to 120Hz, or 144Hz using the display's OC mode, using DisplayPort 1.4, though the monitor also ships with HDMI 2.0 support for use with "4K" HDR consoles like the Xbox One X and PS4 Pro. Of course this price is beyond me.

    I will not look below 34". 
    But my budget can afford only 60Hz, 3840x2160 without GSync.
    AOC I hear have some 35" monitor with GSync for arround 500$, but 3440 resolution, not UHD.
    My highest price is 700 euro. For that money best choice is LG 43UD79, for now, or on autumn LG 38" Wide will cost similar price.
     
    I write some two Smart TV models, one is LG other is Samsung with TrueMotion 120, HDR10 they are tested for games and capable to keep 4K UHD resolution on 60Hz without lag. But I forgot number of model because it's not for Europe market, I asked LG.
    And price is far below 1000$ for arround 50", something less I think.
    That's almost TV/Monitor in one and have Gaming Mode. Guy who played on Youtube and show that model say same as Monitor.

    As production of these monitors increases I can only hope that the price goes down.

    better than the $3000 pre-order price that was first seen at least, and by a good bit too, but still not to my price range however.

    I'd also be happy with a 3440 x 1440 if the prices would come down on those as well.

    this price point is actually a lot better than I was expecting. Still expensive but still not as bad

    I think that's $2,699.99 Canadian dollars, not USD (CA for Canada, not California lol). It's listed on Newegg still for $1,999.99 but out of stock.

    I thought my X34 was expensive, wow. Wish I could get the X27, but this monitor will have to hang around for at least 10 years for me to justify an upgrade.

    I don't think I could justify the price jump from a 4k 60hz 27 inch with G-sync to this. That's just too much (for me) for a display. 2k I'd rather put into home improvement or a boutique guitar :)
