Considering the current market, using a parcel forwarding service and paying extra for shipping and taxes still comes out cheaper than buying anything around these parts.
And who doesn’t want to belong to the elite, eh?! ;p
Think the 100 forum post requirement to join doesn’t really help with increasing the quality of this board, but if it nets me at least a chance at a card at a reasonable price point, I’m gladly part of problem.

To be fair, you could also watch EVGA Twitch streams to gain the necessary points (5000?) to obtain Elite as well.

I wonder if this will cause an influx of new members to the community? I will admit I am one, since I've been trying and missing for months on getting a GPU. Would love to finally have a leg up.

Well, I haven't brought a card from the EVGA yet but they're the only ones offering clean prices, so this whole thing looks like a worth a try. Still a step better than waiting on various stock-watches.

I like this idea. This and EVGA warranty are two reasons to be a EVGA customer for life. I have no owned an EVGA gpu but if I ever do I will hold onto that puppy for dear life

Yeah, that's how I'm feeling right now. The step-up program, queue-based system, and general good customer service are making me want to be a customer for life. I just haven't had a chance to buy an EVGA GPU.
