Well the points are gone, it seems like mark as useful,is gone too, well I'm happy if everyone else is. really didn't see it as that big of a deal, but applaud, the Mods for trying to appease.

Why get rid of the ratings but leave the score counter in the profiles? Sure it got abused, but it helped weed out useless posts from the useful ones.

One other thing for you guys to help with.  If you don't feel comfortable or want to take a few seconds to report a post for a BR, please mark a BR worthy post as helpful, in the post.  That way we also see threads where people feel that a member has helped them.

Thanks.

I feel like for as long as I've been here and as much as i post i should know, but how do you mark a post as helpful again?

we need to keep this thread on topic.  This is a general warning.  If we can't stay to the topic, then it will need to be locked.

One more thought, If at all possible...could somebody implement a system that lets users look at where a BR is and for what reason is was given? I see I earned a BR somewhere but im not entirely sure where.
Anybody else agree?

^ +1, I have spent hours, looking through my old posts, trying to find a BR, But I know this has been asked before, so I doubt anything can be done. They typicaly only make changes, withen the limatations of the software, so if a feature is there they will actavate or deactivate it, But if it's not a feature, than it's not an option.

In the old forum, you used to be able to click on click on your BR count number and it would take you to a list of all your BR threads.  Perhaps Shane can make that happen again.  We shall see.

This is something we will be working on with the 3.8 upgrade.

Unfortunately it will not be retroactive, but you will see where all BR's are coming from once the upgrade happens and on.
