Nevermind, I see you listed a Z77 and X99. Sorry, still waking up. The Z77 has onboard Intel video if you can configure your settings in the BIOS to use IGP we might get a look in the Device Manager and see if a Code 43 isn't listed for the Kingpin.

no video yet booting fine. 

Do you have a sound card or anything on the pci-e slot or just the video card? Also try clear the CMOS to factory stock and see what Post code you get.

I contacted EVGA support via email, not certain what to do next?
 
ALL my product information is IN my profile serial number date of purchase etc, so not sure if I need to transfer that to them again or they just access my registration from the EVGA website.
 
 

Make sure you also the GPU settings in the Bios to Legacy Mode Only.
Legacy Mode First on my X99 stopped working and my OS would give me a Code 12.

How do I upload my invoice?
 
Isnt that already on file since I bought the card from EVGA??>> (bewildered)

Baffles me too but what I did was use the Snipping Tool and downloaded a pic of the invoice under Member / Order History at the top of this page. Then I uploaded it. Seems like a lot of work for buying something direct from EVGA.

I printed my digital invoice that came right from my EVGA product orders page, to the Microsoft XPS file to my desktop just like the instructions say, then the invoice upload page does not work

I understand completely if the card was purchased elsewhere why EVGA needs the invoice, but when they already have it on file, the invoice upload tool is kinda silly. : (

The upload will reject certain file types. Once I had to place my JPG file in a .zip format using 7-zip to get it to upload.

After you have the invoice in an acceptable format open the My Product section, find your Kingpin video board and then select Upload Invoice for it.

EVGA is known to keep an inventory of refurbished boards in stock. Even though they don't show any inventory for sale does not mean they are not in stock for replacement purposes. The only way to be certain you receive the exact model of Kingpin board in return is to look at the part number when you receive the replacement.

According to tracking you should receive my RMA'd KingPin 980 today.
 
The KingPin 980 I purchased from you JUly 2015 is P/N: 04G-P4-5988-KR the FULL KingPin 980 GPU capable of 1314MHz factory overclock and NOT the KingPin "Reference" 980 you are currently selling for around $309.
 
Can I please get another 5988-KR video card, just like the one I purchased?

As per the warranty documentation, you will get back the same GPU model or a replacement model with equivalent or better performance.

So I received the replacement Kingpin 980 today and now I can boot into windows just fine. 
 
 
but now, I'mm having a dark zone issue, the video blanks out intermittently just goes dark for 6sec 8sec then back on again./.
 
And also I'm getting horizontal lines sketchy lines across the screen with the replacemane KingPin.
 
I made some VIDEOS showing the horizontal lines.

Sounds like you got yourself another defective card. Try running the card in debug mode to see if it helps prevent the card from blanking out.

I got a nice clean clear beautiful screen. 
 
I had to swap out the short DP to miniDP cable, do those things go bad frequently?
 
And I had to move to the second miniDP port from the card, the one in the middle.
 
The top port and the lower I get the horizontal tearing lines and it goes to black screen momentarily about 4-6times every single minute., the middle port jack thingy, the screen is perfectly stable.
 
So I dunno. 

Yes, ports/cables can go bad.
