but i have no idea on how to overclock the 1366 socket! :).. something about high BLCK clock ! :)..

on MY eufi bios (which is all new, and only on asus motherboards) u just set the multiplier to 50 and up the voltage a bit and there u go 5 ghz! XD

I added a 3DMark11. I don't know the batch. I'm not taking my CPU out and the box is at home (I'm at uni).

It will be "incoming" for a very long time.

I will try to break that 5.1 GHz when I am not lazy....

i ran 5 ghz with 1.43v Vcore

and that is not bad when it is programs like linx pulling it up to there! :).. remember even though linx pulled up degrees, i gamed at 5.1 ghz and i were only at 60 degrees celcius when gaming and doing other heavy work!

You guys should use the new LinX with AVX:
http://gigaflopd.com/downloads/linx/

This one makes use of the Sandy Bridge architecture and really tests your CPU.

Linx didn't seem to want to do anything when I ran it so I used Intelburntest. Hopefully that's ok.

i believe you are way overvolted on vcore my buddy, should not have to go near 1.6 let alone well over it to get stable at 5.1

Yeah I'm trying to figure out why it's doing that. I have it set at 1.48 but it randomly is jumping up to 1.6 for split seconds at a time. I think it's a setting on the mb, but haven't figured out which yet. It's a Sabertooth P67, any ideas?

i can say as i said to another entry, you have to run atleast 15 min of intel burn test or linx! ^^..

Doorules didn't enter with 5.5 ghz because he wasn't able to run linx, else he would be the top dawg for a long time ;).. this is not a contest to see which can boot the highest, but rather a club for those who is stable at 5+ for gaming and using normal programs!!

so not in my face yet, cause i run 5.1 as my screenshot says!!

but keep em coming!

Yeah the test only took 3 minutes, I'll set it to run for 15 minutes and repost after I get my voltage fluctuations sorted out.
