That same stupid picture was posted a year ago along with the 800w that the 4090 was supposed to bring. A word of advice: Just immediately ignore anything btarunr posts as "news" it's all just garbage and nonsense.

IMO that I/O plate makes no sense. the I/O stacked like that will make it stay 4-slot wide even with a waterblock. but also that exhaust port seems undersized. it wouldn't cost anything to just design a bigger hole there.

This is nothing more than an internal development tool used to cool prototype PCBs. That isn't coming to market, just like it didn't come to market last year when that same picture was posted. This article is pure click-bait nonsense by btarunr again.

Look familiar to this "leak" posted back in oct 2022?

btarunr needs to be fired he's really giving TechPowerUp a bad look. He doesn't research anything he posts and just regurgitates whatever he thinks will get more clicks.

Supposedly, that is Titan aka "the beast", which is a different part than 4090 ti. What's notably different is the cooler leaks and IO location indicate that the board might be a long narrow board that ends up parallel to the motherboard once mounted with some kind of wild heat-pipe design on the 4-slot cooler. 4090ti would use the same board as 4090 and thus likely the same coolers.

Of course this is all information and pictures from leakers, so at best they're all engineering samples that may or may not make it to retail versions, but at worst they're just ideas, mockups, and fakes.

It's an interesting piece, engineering something different, I completely doubt it would be a consumer part we're looking at here.

I don’t think that NVIDIA would release anything before next year or September at least and only if AMD or Intel made it needed to release something high end. It’s Easier to make a 5090 impressive if they don’t push the limit this generation and they have no reason to beat themselves. People also wouldn’t pay 4090 money to own the second most powerful card. When you have that kind of money for parts you get the best.
