Possibility of EVGA's version of the 3090ti will be a King Pin. How else will they cool 21GBs Vram, other than a 360 AIO ? Not to mention its elevated power range. Is it even possible to air cool a 3090ti efficiently without caveat?
I've seen Msi's Suprim X's model is supposedly ready to go as an air cooled card. Will be interesting to see it all plays out.

The K|ngp|n cards have been released on every flagship model since the 780ti. Since NVidia announced the 3090ti, it will take the reigns as the flagship whenever it is released, and a K|ngp|n will come after that. It won’t be launch day that a K|ngp|n is released though, so don’t hold your breath.

You don't know that. What I know for certain is that the current Nvidia driver can completely stop ETH mining in some cases and the 3080 12GB's LHR is not effected by current unlocking methods, having terrible power efficiency mining at half rate ETH. https://youtu.be/zfwyaNvG9Xw?t=1175 So yeah, I'm more than a bit suspicious people will be unpleasantly surprised when they go to mine on a 3090 Ti.

Well their new prebuilt computer system showcased a 3090Ti Kingpin. Just not really a fan of the case and the analog gauges though. At least all the components included are actually high quality so anyone who's been holding off on purchasing a rig this will definitely be a high end one worth looking at.

I'm aware 3090's are not LHR and they promised to keep them non-LHR. The decision made in ~Q2 2021 to LEAVE them as non-LHR was made in the context of their mining effectiveness (+20-25%) over a 3080, while having double the MSRP across the board. Existing FE cards were also left as non-LHR, look how that turned out - packs of scalpers camping Best Buy and 3070 FE's going for $1500 online. Many AIB's raised 3090 prices to $2-$2.5K and they were still impossible to keep in stock, since 3080 Non-LHR were going for around $2K. Now the 3080 12GB Reference goes for $1249 and is LHR, that's +80% over the original 3080 Reference MSRP. The 3090 Ti is a NEW card. It has to use a NEW driver, the drivers have been messing with mining for months now. There is absolutely nothing stopping them from making it LHR, or even completely disabling mining on it. Nvidia is not your friend.

Vince posted the photo, don't know that I would like or want a silver card, but its growing on me. Hard to throw out 400 $ more for 2% increases, but that's what we have decided is our new normal. It is us , the consumer who are making this situation continue.

It does look nice but an open frame would never work for my wife and I. It could be mounted high up on the wall and the cats would figure out a way to get to it. The one thing that got me thinking was the analog gauges for future builds just for fun.

First thought when I saw the case was that, Look forward to seeing Jayztwocents doing an unboxing and a build in it. As for the 3090 Ti, I dont mind the look. It seems as not as deep of a card compared to the 3090 KP since it doesnt have that hump to the SLI connecter. Of course, it wont be much more performance over the 3090 but its cool to see. Look forward to seeing the full specs with the new power connecter and all. Can only imagine what the 40 series one will look like.
