Hi all - new poster but wanted to see if anyone else experienced similar issue. Basically, I had played Warzone for about 4 hours the night before then shut down the pc and went to sleep. No anomalies, gpu temp seemed normal (under 73C). Next morning when I tried to boot up all I got was black screens and my Strix X570-e showing a white light (means VGA issue). The fans on the 3090 were not spinning and I can see one of them try to turn when first starting but then that’s it. I’ve swapped PCIe slots, PSU and even mobo - and nothing. I swapped my wife’s 2070S to tear and it boots up on the Strix board as well as the new board. So definitely seems like gpu is a goner. But it’s soooo odd! Working perfectly the night before, shut down Win10 with no issues and now gpu is dead?!?!?!

Check to see it there is red light above the gpu's power cables, my first 3090 ftw3 had the red light of death.

If you look at the gold contacts where the pcie gets slotted you will see the revision number.  Is it 0.1 or 1?  There apparently is a power balance issue with some of the cards, the first 8 pin shows around 130W, second 8 pin shows around 150 and the third shows 80.  I emailed 3090oc@evga.com and sent a screen capture from GPU-Z and the sensors tab. This maybe part of the problem with these boards would be my guess...

No red light. Wish there was at least I’d know.
