3070 Ti XC3 Ultra iCX 3rd fan revving up randomly

I just got a EVGA 3070 Ti XC3 ultra a week ago and the iCX 3rd right fan revs up randomly to 2000-3000rpm when temps are perfectly fine. It seems to do it when the other 2 fans are transitioning to the 0 rpm mode. The attached pictures show the 3rd fan didn't need to rev up that high as temps were perfectly fine. 
 
Is anyone else having this issue?

    When gaming do all fans rev up correctly?

    Yes they do. They all usually spin around the same rpm. This only seems to happen when during light loads where the fans turn on and off to keep the temps in check but they don't need to run constantly. 
     
    Basically they all seem to function correctly except for those random annoying revs that, based on the temps, aren't needed.

    Is this fixable by setting fixed fan speeds while doing light loads?

    I Just got the same card and its doing something very similar, except mine is not reporting RPM on the 3rd fan at all, but it is definitely the 3rd fan (or the one farthest from the IO) that randomly spins up to high for a half a second then turns off. This is noticeable under light workloads or when the machine is idle. Also when I manually set the fans to a percentage, in precision X1, the first 2 stay constant and the third does not spin or randomly kicks on.

    I can try but i shouldn't have to do that. It's a brand new card and running the fans constantly will wear them out quicker.

    I'll check if i can manually control mine.

    Are you checking the 3rd fan rpm in gpu z? There's a chance it's just not reporting properly in that software. In gpu z it's labels icx right fan.

    Also does your 3rd fan run normally under gaming load? By that i mean the fan isn't off when it clearly should be on (temps and load are high), the rpm seems similar to the other 2 fans, and it isn't abnormally loud.

    In precision x1 their is a checkbox in the fan curve settings that needs to be checked if you want the 3rd fan to run at same speeds as fan 1 and 2 otherwise fan 3 uses the memory temp or voltage regulator temps to control 3rd fan because of noise complaints the fans only ramp up when load and temp increase. if you use manual control it will show if the fan reacts to your setting. you need to press apply after any change. If the checkbox is unchecked the 3rd fan will not copy fan1 and fan 2 as designed I have been testing a 3070ti FTW3 Ultra for about a month and that is how it works. PS any software other then Precision X1 does not report fan percentages correctly.

    I would contact Evga support, Unless they have a magic solution, sounds like you might have to RMA
