2080 xc issue

my evga 2080 xc  hits 85c and also ever game i try and play its ok for a bit till it hits 85c then will crash my games  i have all the drivers for everthing up 2 date idk what is wrong with this card

CPU: i7 8700k
GPU:  Evga 2080 XC
MOBO: Gigabyte z370 Aorus Gaming 7
RAM: 32GB Corsair Pro RGB DDR4
PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA 1600 T2 Titanium 
Case: 
Cooler: Evga 280mm Aio Cooler  
Mouse & Keyboard: Corsair

    See if putting the gpu fans to 100% with the case door off helps stop the problem.

    i tryed that still will crash

    Have you tried to set max negative clocks on the core & memory to see if that will help resolve the issue?

    No problem, I'm talking about underclocking the gpu. Just do what #4 says listed here, and then go try your games again.

    all try that if that dont help  i guess all have 2 wait till my step up for switching this 2080 out for a 2080 ti is ready still stuck in queue then all buy the evga aio cooler for the 2080 ti

    well so far everthing is working fine hitting only 71c in game with debug mode on

    well spent time in game crashed at 71c so weird

    i have all fans in my case at 100% and gpu fans at 100% no help

    yes its been overclocked  befor i even got the 2080  cpu stays cool

    well got the gpu 2 cool down not in game now if i can play a game with out crashing or hitting 85c  im gona keep trying things

    well im thinking it is not even my gpu thats crashing the games cuz it crashed at 54c  i know the motherbord i been using has been messing up on me so maybe its the gigabyte mobo wont know till my rma evga bord gets 2 me

    I'd suggest going into the bios, and loading optimized defaults then saving and exiting the bios. See if that helps fix the crashing.

    i fixed it was my gigabyte mobo  put in  a asus z390 bord everthing is good now
