Maybe it's a shortage of GPU's from Nvidia, most other aib partners 2080Ti are out of stock also, at least here in NZ.

Clearly it is a shortage otherwise they would be in stock. What I want to know is "Why" there is a shortage. Is it due to low yields? Nvidia intentionally holding back stock for AIB's to drive sales of their FE cards? Or demand, which shouldn't be the case since Nvidia has a pre order day 1 and could've seen the demand for the 2080 ti's and knew what to expect. I understand shortages happen but at least communicate with your customers so we understand why. If it is due to a shortage and higher demand than explain a road map for what is going to be done to alleviate these issues moving forward. It's PR 101. 

There are other theories out there that since they made an abundance of 10xx series GPUs because of mining, they were stuck with so much stock (1 Million?) when mining collapsed that they by design did what they did with this release to help get rid of their old stock.

The yield rumors could be possible as well but we usually hear about something like that way before release.

What is a low yield? Is this something in the manufacturing process?

When someone references a low yield it is usually referring to there being a higher than normal defect rate in the dies that are manufactured. This can be common place with newer or larger processor designs. Processors are not made piece by piece, instead they are constructed on large wafers of silicon which are then cut down to single processors. If the manufacturing process is extremely complex or is using a new manufacturing technique (think intel's 10nm architecture) the resulting usable dies that come from these wafers are lower than expected. Some companies Nvidia included will sometimes reuse the processors that didn't meet the required specifications and disable the parts of the processor that they are having trouble manufacturing and rebadge them as a lower end chip. This was done with the titan cards and the ti series cards that followed after them for a while.

Apples and oranges logistics.  B&H is in the US while the shipment to the EU still has to go through it's routine of customs or wait for enough GPUs to head on over instead of trickling them across the pond which would only increase shipping costs, etc.

First, i don't think they will be shipped from the US to the EU. They will be coming directly from Asia. 

It's possible but we wouldn't be able to know this 100% and not sure if they are willing to tell us how they do it but history has proven time and time again that everyone outside the US usually got products weeks after and the same goes vise versa so I don't understand what all the stink is about as if you're complaining from a bordering state. lol

Mine did ship yesterday via UPS Next Day Air, schedule to arrive sometime later this afternoon.

this is B&H's customer service response when I talked to them a week ago.

"Agent: Right now, our internal ETA for that item is the 25th of this month.
Me: thank you
Agent: That is what we are being told by the manufacturer."

Sounds about right, sadly

Looks like I'll see it on Friday. I think I'm going to live stream opening it up.

My delivery will be attempted today, but the delivery time got bumped up and nobody will be there to accept the package. GREAT. Not sure what will happen next. Besides my card being tossed around by UPS longer.

If you sign up for UPS MyChoice (think its free for three months), you can send it to a UPS center for pick up. It's really convenient for this time of year.

The only option my choice gives me is to return to sender!!

Looks like I'll be paying to have my card reshipped 😥😥😥😥😥😥😥😥

Edit I just paid $8 via my choice to have them as attempt a late afternoon delivery tomorrow. Hope it works out.
