s-man Hi I'm new to this forum. Any thoughts if I will be able to get a 2080Ti FTW3 before 10 November? I didn't pre-order, only signed up for the notification email when stock is available.
Highly doubtful considering way things are going right now. For the non-preorder folks we'd be lucky to even get one towards the holidays.

Have cancelled my 09/08/2018 11AM preorder. EVGA has had my $1366 for 6 weeks and at this point I really don't care if they ship tomorrow or not. Am also concerned about the number of 2080 ti problem posts, RMAs, BSODs, black screens, artifacts, game crashes etc. So will keep my 1080 ti for now and good luck to all of you waiting for your preorders

Dang...it went from having all preorders shipped by Thursday to ‘early next week’. With signing for delivery being mandatory most of us would appreciate a concrete date. If you don’t have a date then at least let us know what’s going on and stop pushing it out a few days. Say a week or something to set expectations and if it ships early you will have happy customers instead of pissed off ones that are sick of waiting only to be given vague af updates 😑. I planned a business trip next week due to the fact that I’ve been told since Oct 5th that my card would be shipping in a few days. I bought here because the customer service experience was supposed to be top notch & so far I find it lacking.

Fool me once, shame on me. Fool me twice, thrice, (quadrice?), shame on me. I'm out. Everyone has their limit and for me its double the estimated ship date and multiple missed promises. Even if it ships tomorrow (don't bet on it) I'm not ok with the lack of real explanations/communication this late in the game. It's time for me to cancel my preorder and go non-EVGA for the first GPU in 5 generations. If there was an explanation as to why the missed promises on shipping I'd be somewhat willing to forgive, but I've heard nothing but "Oops, moving it again. We'll ship XX day though!" I paid for overnight shipping and now if it ships Friday (it won't), it wouldn't arrive until Monday. Far more importantly, I'll be out of town next week (week 7 of their 3-4 week estimated timeline) so I can't even sign for/receive it. Wish I could give someone my 9/7 preorder that wanted to wait, but I guess at least those who stay and have later preorders get to move up one spot. I'm ok waiting, but I'm not ok waiting after multiple misleading statements about when it WILL ship. If you want to keep customers, either be honest with them or at least don't make promises you aren't sure you can keep.

Maybe it has something to do with weather. I ordered a Z390 FTW motherboard from them that shipped on Monday and was due here today. UPS says it was delayed due to severe weather (CA -> TX) If they're waiting on some component shipment from a supplier it could have been delayed as well. Of course if that's the case they should just say so.

You know this would just be a lot easier if they would say, "Look, it's raining avacodo pits right now, and we're not sure when these things are going to ship out. Thank you for your patience and understanding. P.S. Here's a free EVGA sticker."

Apparently, EVGA responds rather quickly when someone alludes toward using the mere hint of a swear word. Info about our pre-ordered video cards though? Silence for hours/days. Hilarious.

Delays happen. It's frustrating, but it's understandable when things are communicated.
As a business owner, if I fail to live up to the expectations that I set for my customer, I apologize and try to make it right. I bend over backwards apologizing because I care about my customers and value them. Without them, my business closes.
EVGA hasn't apologized and has done a poor job communicating issues.
At this point, cancelling my preorder would punish me and I've waited long enough already. This will simply be my last purchase of an EVGA product.

Just goes to show the level of frustration. Would appreciate some token sent our way. Option to buy a 2nd (for those who want to NVLink), upgraded shipping free, some discount or credit on the site, some token of appreciation would be really nice. I'm in no hurry, but the delays cause frustration that wouldn't normally be there. First delay, meh I'm in no hurry. Second delay, ok something isn't right. Third delay, regretting the purchase because I could have had other cards from other vendors much sooner. Fourth delay, .....why am I here again? Like mentioned previously, some solid reason why we keep getting these delays would have been great for transparency and PR. PCB / GPU / whatever shortage? Have to fix all the stickers? BIOS issues? Retail packing issues? After using EVGA video cards exclusively for well over a decade it's the first time I've thought about jumping ship. (not to mention Power Supplies and Motherboards) My current build includes an X299 Dark Mobo, 1300 watt EVGA power supply, CLC 280 CPU cooler on an i9 7940-x, and an EVGA 1080 Ti SC2. Even have 2x EVGA Powerlinks and an EVGA 4-slot NVLink waiting for a few FTW3 cards. Waiting through multiple delays for that one missing part that brings everything together draws on ones nerves.
CPU: Intel Core i9-7940X @ 4.0ghz boost Memory: 32gb DDR4 3600MHz - Corsair Vengance RGB Pro MB: EVGA x299 DARK Video: 2x EVGA 2080 Ti FTW3 in NVLink

Bingo. I am also a business owner. The two most important things I stress is managing expectations and communicating with customers. If those two things are done well, it is easier on everyone.

Oh, so the 6 other times Jacob missed his promised ship date don't count now?
I only recall two times that Jacob said some of the cards would ship. And on both of those times some of the cards shipped. The latest that we heard from him on Monday is that all of the cards will ship either Wednesday or Thursday. So yeah, I don't think he's missed in promised ship dates.

By your own admission. He stated Wednesday or Thursday. It is not Thursday yet kiddo. Calm down. If you go to your pre-order and read what it says. "ESTIMATED" Ship Time. If you wait until tomorrow early evening, and nothing has been shipped or said, get the pitchforks.
Another missed ship date. You guys gonna keep being corporate shills, and saying how its totally ok for them to continually just miss the ship dates they promise, without an explanation? You want to keep giving free passes because they provide literally the least possible amount of information that can still be counted as something? They just keep moving the expectations that they have wrongly set each time. Yeah we get it, stuff happens, but you lose all goodwill when you refuse to communicate whats actually happening, and you just wait to the last second to say, no see, this is finally the correct ship date (until we move it again at the last second).

EVGA_JacobF Update: Unfortunately we will need to move the shipping one more day. Most of the remaining preorders will ship tomorrow, 10/19. The rest will ship early next week.
So what you're saying is that you're shipping tomorrow and everyonethat picked next day gets their card next Monday. Awesome 10/10 will preorder and pay for next day shipping again.

Dang, so I'm a corporate shill now? I was just pointing out the fact that Jacob, at that point, hadn't missed any promised ship dates. There's a big difference between we SHOULD get it shipped by this date and I PROMISE we'll get it out by this ship date. The latest missed ship date was a promise where Jacob said that all the remaining preorders WILL ship on Wednesday or Thursday. So technically this is his first missed PROMISED ship date. And because this is life saving medical equipment and people are dying I can see why people are so upset.... oh wait... what was that? It's a video card... yeah... it's a piece of entertainment equipment... Now on a serious note, I wanted to have my new GPU at least by this week as I had some time off of work and that would have been a great time to play with my new toy, but that's not happening and it's not the end of the world. Why am I not flipping my desk over in anger? Because its a toy, we're all waiting on a new shinny toy to show up...

I think we're allowed some frustration though. The level of communication has been just a notch or two above nothing. I think the more we knew, the better we'd feel, but EVGA is sitting on thousands upon thousands of our dollars with little to nothing to show for it at the moment, so folks are rightfully anxious, I feel. I'm keeping my pre-order because while I want, want, WANT this card, I won't die if I don't get it tomorrow...but I'd LOVE to get it tomorrow. ;)

Not a corporate shill. You have a poor understanding as a consumer. You are paying for a service, If you do not like the service.... CANCEL IT. Stop coming here and complaining, this is an update thread to update people. You are buying a luxury item. People who work in any sort of distribution business should understand that, sometimes factors that they have no control over happen, could be anything, and no they do not have to give you a reason, because you are a consumer, you vote with your wallet. Go to a competitor if this bothers you so much. Last and most important point would be it is a ESTIMATED delivery time frame. It is not GUARANTEED delivery date. This is not being a shill. I am explaining to you, your crappy view on consumerism. I'd suggest getting a book, read it, learn something.
