I’ve been lurking here ever since I preordered on the 9th. Every day that goes by is a day this high dollar card depreciates even more.

An explanation would be a very nice gesture and would go a long way. My guess is if Jacob told us it would potentially damage eVGAs rep.

But that is BS - we deserve an answer because they took our money well over a freaking month ago and blew past their estimated ship dates.

Jacob is hiding one or more reasons why the delays keep occurring and that is crap. Just freakin communicate with us instead of hiding behind these elusive ship dates. It’s the right thing to do.

It's huuuggee. I just couldn't wait any longer and I had to go with probably the next best option :(. I hope everyone loves their ftw3's as I will be forever jealous lol. I'm not an msi fan myself, but I am even less of a fan of waiting this long.. Especially since I missed the preorders, god only knows when the actual availability will be. RIP. Installing this when the i9 comes. Overnight, so hopefully Saturday! I hope these cards are available soon for the sake of all

I'm in a similar situation and really, really (!) wanted to buy the FTW3 Ultra.. But it seems that it will never be available lol :/
Had the opportunity to buy the Asus ROG Strix 2080 Ti OC yesterday, so I'll probably stick to the Asus which seems to be an awesome card, too :)

For me, it doesn't matter that the 2080ti FTW3 is not available yet. The motherboard I want (Asus Z390 Maximus Formula XI) is not available now either.

Hard times in the industry for customers. You can pre-order eveything while they should be available already but you still need to wait weeks/months for a 2080 TI FTW3, Z390 and a 9900K

That is the boat I am in. Have the FTW3 Ultra on pre-order, the i9 9900k on pre-order, and now just waiting on the EVGA Z390 Dark to become available. In the meantime just researching and gathering the other components.
Hopefully will be able to check the 2080 Ti off the list here in next few days, will likely go ahead and throw into my current build to check it out.

Similar situation, the 2k+ UW monitor I want is not available yet, so my 1080ti is doing fine on my 1080p monitor! xD
I guess it's easy to be patient under our circumstances.

In all honesty, once we all get our cards, I have to figure out what I'm going to do with my 980 hybrids and SLI link...

You had the chance to pre-order the FTW3, I didn't and now I sit here looking to you with the money away from your pocket and no cards in hand. Then, I look trough the forum and I see some complainings about fan noise and rma stuff.
 
My thoughts are.. I'm looking for other brands and the MSI Trio is looking at me :)
 
I have one MSI with 4 years old, played everyday and never disapointed me in the 4 years usage.

Is there any manufacturer's forum which has no complaints about technical issues and RMAs? Especially for new products it's bound to happen to some people. We can't know the % of people who had problems but at least with EVGA I'm sure to have AAA support while with ASUS I have a few bad experiences, didn't have a chance to try other manufacturers.
