brahmzy And because of this proprietary ICX crap, it forces you to use their software. Afterburner cannot see or control fans 2 and 3. I’m starting to wish I’d have just stuck with the XC Ultra card I originally preordered. This ICX stuff is a joke IMO.
Are you saying you can't manually control all fans in Afterburner, i don't care about controlling each separately but at least can we do manual curve in afterburner and control all at once like single fan? if not that is a deal breaker :(

More i read about this card more i just think its not even worth the asking price, Sticker Peeling off, Fan problems, Memory getting hot , Benchmark scores and OC clocks are nothing better than even cheapest Zotac AMP cards so i'm not even sure anymore whats so special about it in the first place!

Yeah my card is def not performing as well as I expected it to. I’m only seeing about a 25% increase in frame rate in Black ops 4, Monster Hunter, and Assasin’s Creed Odyssey compared to my old Titan X. It’s running pretty hot and the fans aren’t working... Pretty pissed about this. They’d better fix it.....

No. No learning curve here. The software is riddled with bugs. Quit defending crap development. This software is inexcusable for a $1,350 card.

Are you saying that the performance is due to the fans are not cooling it, or are you seeing low overclocking potential even when cool?

Not bashing anyone. Just trying to understand if the fan issue (which will be fixed) is the cause of low performance claimed by others. People buy the FTW because of overclocking potential. Otherwise they'd go with cheaper cards. If you read the Zotac AMP reviews on newegg people are having good results with overlocking.

yeah my card is set up for RMA already. Fan issues, hot memory, i cant OC past +100 without crashes. PX1 is a steaming pile right now. Bios switch is useless, voltage slider is useless, LED lights keep reverting back to blue. Two fans work when the want to, sometimes they turn off and on and off and on and off and on and off and on. I have moderate coil whine coming from the area were the 8pin connectors are as well. Im running my GTX 1080 again. Hopefully my replacement card is better or ill be pushing for a refund, which would be sad after waiting all this time. (ordered sept 9)

All of these issues are really starting to scare me. I'm kinda glad I haven't had luck with the refresh store page lottery. I really just wanted to pair this card with the 9900K I have on preorder but now that is looking like a huge delay also. Maybe by the time the 9900k gets to me PX1 will be sorted out. Same here. Had the Z390 from day one. I9-9900k arrives monday from newegg. Want to pair it to a 2080ti but at some point any 2080ti will do for a year until something else comes out.

I don't blame EVGA for lack of parts, or bad batches of parts, but they should have XOC and any fan issues ironed out.

I’m definitely holding off on trying to get one until EVGA sorts out the hot memory bank issue. That’s not a bad batch of chips, there is something else up like missing thermal pads.

Yeah... I’m giving this card 1 more week. If all this BS isn’t sorted out by then, I’m requesting a refund and going with a Zotac AMP model....
I’m not getting enough heat dissipation, the memory banks are getting hot and staying hot no matter what I do. I REALLY hope it’s not a bad/missing thermal pad issue....

Well, true, but all those cards actually overclock the same. Same chips, similar limits. Thermals are fine. PNY and Palit both work nice too. It's silicon lottery. I've cancelled my XC and then my FTW3, not because I expected bad performance, but rather kind of ignoring EU really got to me this time. Both cards were very late (FTW3 still is so colleague cancelled too). And news were coming slow for EU, usually only referring to the US. Since waterblocks and replacement panels are also missing from even the store for EU, the risk was too high that'll we'll be stuck with air and 3-slot io panel, it was easier to say 'sorry, no'. But the performance itself was always just lottery of what you get from nVidia.

I have an Amp! card. OC tuner gets me to around 2025Mhz boost on full load. sometimes it hits 2050 but dips back to 1950 range and stabilizes back on 2025. It has some strange coil whine behavior that is just at the borderline of qualifying for RMA. (In certain frequency/load scenarios it gets really loud and high pitched. Still not as bad as some 970) Newegg offered to accept a refund for 8% restocking fee (The standard policy is replacement or 15% restock refund). Debating between doing that and ordering the FTW3, or just asking Zotac for a replacement.

They are selling out within minutes of being in stock, You have to be quick until things settle down.

It's been in and out of stock last week. The demand is incredibly high, and from what it looks like, EVGA opted to make them available for pretty much every/every other production turnover instead of stocking up and washing it down. My guess is there are few things at play here: 1. Throwing them into a warehouse, waiting for stock to pile up incurs more logistical cost, so it's more cost effective to ship them out incrementally as they come along. 2. Although many people will be faced with disappointment on each order fiasco, some people will start getting them from the get-go, and everyone will eventually get them one way or another. 3. EVGA doesn't have to lie about availability or get blamed for over-promising since people buy them when there's stock, and people can't place pre-orders or deal with other shenanigans when they're not.

To be realistic, my guess will be not until after Christmas. If it were any other manufacturer, it’d be mostly users that are gunning for the specific looks for their build that would hold out for a very specific card. (Meaning the rest will move on to similarly performing cards available by other reputable manufacturer/retailer) EVGA has a lot of customers who buy into their looks and the performance/warrantee reputation. Those guys won’t settle for any other manufacturer. It really depends on the demand, but the aggregate demand of the US generally speaking only goes up from now until end of the year, and I don’t see FTW’s production volume increasing dramatically (it’s not worth investing on scaling the production if the profit from increased volume doesn’t make up for it.) and why would they, when the tech market is facing a huge uncertainty while each production sells out within minutes, when they can always hold on to the cash to evaluate for growth in time for future major launches.

Yes. EVGA is a good AIC. I can only buy it on Amazon. My friend has already got the 2080TI XC. And I can only wait. As far as I know, about 200+ people have already ordered FWT3. We paid from August 20th and waited until now. It can only depend on the goods on Amazon.😢
