Yes this sucks, I just wanna play the new Assassins Creed and relax but I don't wanna miss the chance to get a card...….

If it doesn't happen by the end of the hour its a pretty safe bet its not gonna happen till Monday at the earliest.  And probably at a horrible time again.
This game of not being able to preorder a card and throw my 1400 bucks at evga is sooooo much fun...……..:D

I would be cool waiting a few weeks if I could lock in a preorder and they could charge me instantly and have the money, I wouldn't care.  I just wanna worry about the next thing, like when is my freaking 9900k preorder gonna get here.

To bad Jacob can't chime in real quick and say "that's it for the weekend guys"  "more stock early next week or something"

So, Just to share my story: I received the e-mail at 2:05PM PT, and my phone buzzed at 2:08. Stupid Verified by visa stopped me, and when I was at the final checkout stage, it said the stock was all gone lmao

That is brutal man. I know the feeling.  
Yesterday I had mine in cart, went to shipping options and payment and boom it was gone out of my cart and said stock was gone.   I was shaking with joy as I was going thru the motions of buying the card and then it vanished.
It is the worst feeling that I have ever experienced trying to by pc hardware.  Been building my own pcs since the 8800gtx days with a e8500 dual core.  Never been this frustrated trying to get ahold of pc hardware.  Hopefully something happens next week or I might freak out, haha, j/k

For whatever reason, I have found the EVGA ordering to be real finnicky about that, last 2-3 times I have ordered through them have had this problem trying to checkout, and I use a Master Card. The problem is when I approve it when I first get notification from my CC company, the transaction fails again each time I try it again with EVGA. It is like EVGA does not try to run it through again, but declines based on what happened on the first attempt.
 
I have found using PayPal to be trouble free ( even with same CC), so I would highly recommend when trying to get a card that may only be there briefly, to have PayPal ready to go and get that transaction through rapidly.

I know you want your cards very bad. I can tell you now that I have mine, eVGA needs to stop shipment on these and fix the fan problems the cards have. It is a showstopper - my card was at 87 degrees with 2 memory banks at 89 degrees before I shut it down last night. Stock clocks.
The software to control the cards is basically unusable. Read the threads here concerning the fan problems. Hopefully while you all are waiting, the rest of us are beta testing these for eVGA and will have the problems fixed. But I’d be in no hurry knowing what I know now. I know the reason these things were delayed so long. They’re essentially broken.

And because of this proprietary ICX crap, it forces you to use their software. Afterburner cannot see or control fans 2 and 3.
I’m starting to wish I’d have just stuck with the XC Ultra card I originally preordered. This ICX stuff is a joke IMO.

You ordered it in september? I'm guessing from a different site or something like B&H? and you just keep getting pushed back on the dates from them?
 
Ordered mine directly from them a few days ago and it's arriving early this next week. no complaints here :P

Everyone that ordered Sept 15th ordered from BHphoto. 
 
I just bought the UC ultra yesterday and it will be here monday. Not sure if I want to cancel my BHphoto pre order or keep it.
