Been a long time since I water cooled a system.  Just wanted to ask roughly when these will be available:
https://www.evga.com/products/product.aspx?pn=400-HC-1489-B1

Is it a standard 1/4 inch fitting?  Also from looking at it, the lines can be made to run from the top and sides, 6 ports to choose from?

Haven't water cooled since I fried a whole system being a bit careless, so going to be a little more paranoid on this one.

Almost all liquid cooling gear use the standard G 1/4 threaded ports if that's what you're asking.  Fitting and tubing size is all up to you.

They apparently sold like 5 of these blocks four weeks ago then they disappeared off the planet. Par for the course with this launch.

With this EVGA waterblock, can you still use the EVGA cards OEM backplate with the waterblock?

Answering your questions in no particular order:
    - The card would support a standard G1/4 fitting.
    - Correct, you can use either top, front, or bottom ports for inlet / outlet.
    - Unfortunately, we do not have information regarding availability of the of the waterblocks, but the Auto-Notify button will send you an email once they are in stock!

There should be no issues using the stock backplate with the Hydro Copper blocks we sell for the graphics card!

well he asked about using evga's backplate on the evga water block. I'm asking if you can use nvidia FE's backplate on evga's water block. You would think that there would be a difference between the two.

If I had to guess, Hydro Coppers won't show up till Dec. at the earliest since they need to push out Hybrids first.  Hope I'm wrong but I haven't heard anything about the HC's.

Must because Nvidia is producing low yields due to nearly double parts of waterblocks. /s

    sure thing!

That is if you have a Card
I spent a week on mine before I installed the Water Block.
I will have my second card by Friday and I will do the same with this card.
Then I will install it in the same computer run SLI both ways and then if all runs well and seems fine I will install the second HC Water Block.

The main problem is even the card runs fine and I can’t get the HCwaterblock that’s a problem and it’s been more than a month since it ran out. On the other hand XC version waterblock is still in stock which kinda makes me wonder what’s raking it too long for the production of the waterblock.

The main problem is even the card runs fine and I can’t get the HCwaterblock that’s a problem and it’s been more than a month since it ran out. On the other hand XC version waterblock is still in stock which kinda makes me wonder what’s raking it too long for the production of the waterblock.

EK could be a back door to a Water Block what have they to say about it?
