He is. Somewhere..
Also, I had my buddy go to my house and do a CMOS clear because the system locked up today. Everything will be running fine from here on out, I hope.

deathlokke is on my radar too but you're my number one threat. I am now watercooled with a modded BIOS. I can Fold at 1620 Mhz at 1.275v but the boards get really hot in a hurry.

Wow 1620 huh? When that hybrid kit gets here I'm gonna have to push that one a bit harder. It can do 1550 on air.

JK, I just Fold at stock voltage of 1.212 at 1500 MHz. I did do a WU at 1620 and 1.275v on a single board but it just got too hot for being watercooled IMO and I didn't see any appreciable increase in ppd. The same 4300 point WU still gave me a total of 43,000 with bonus points added after a run time of two and a half hours. If I Folded with both boards at those settings you would see a mushroom cloud over my apartment.

Well...upping my folding game again. Parts ordered to replace the q9550/780i platform. That will be a x79 classy/4820k running my 970s and a pair of 770s for now. The cheap B stock 970s that where in stock last night are now gone was going to grab a pair of those but missed out. On auto notify for the b stock 970 ssc, hopefully they get restocked soon. The tri-sli 970s are being replaced with a 980 Ti sc+(on sale on newegg $629+ a $30 mir) in my main rig. Should have it all up and running just in time for the flag drop on the 1st barring complications. Shots fired, Central FTW

Oh You could use chrome remote desktop. They have a phone app, and it uses your Google account for authentication. I understand you wouldn't be able to set it up now, but for future use.

You're not the only one. After too many failed wu's and crashes over time, I gave up that practice long ago. Folding doesn't like cards that are overclocked (depending on the wu) and I don't care to babysit the rigs. I like to set it and forget it. As a result, I lose hardly any wu's due to hardware. Better for the program and my piece of mind.

I totally agree. ..nothing like running a wu 5-6 hours up to 95% complete and having it fail and get 0 points for it. Folding is very stressful and that will happen with a high oc.

I haven't had too many incidents with corruption at 1500 MHz. Only once in the past few months and I only had to go back five minutes to clean it up.

Your lucky Zuhl, that's a pretty high oc. when I first started folding in 05 with my ATI cards I tried oc'ing them and it was a disaster. I stayed with just stock clocks for a long time and no issues. When I started with the kepler cards I tried again and losses outweighed the gains. The maxwel cards have been better. Mild oc's like +26 have been pretty solid for me but going much beyond that there's been a few issues. . I'm not sure you gain much by oc'ing anyway.

I have some pretty nice ASIC qualities of 79.0 and 79.3 which I think helps a lot. I only have to boost +146 to get 1500 MHz. The board I had to RMA only had an ASIC of 64 and I could boost that to +185 but Core Clock never went over 1487 MHz.

Yes, very nice ASIC score. A well matched pair. I'll bet they clock well in SLI too.

They clock very well in SLI with perfectly matched clock rates. I had issues using SLI with that old video board that had a 64 ASIC. Unless I backed down my best board and boosted the other board insanely to get matching clocks I had nothing but problems. I have to hand it to MSI for finding me a board with matching ASIC. The first replacement had some serious dents in the heatpipes so I pitched a royal fit about it. I had every intention of watercooling it so it was kind of pointless to me until you consider that someday I would have to try to sell it. It came up in a conversation with their support staff that I had a perfectly good MSI board with an ASIC of 79.3 when I was complaining about how long it was taking and I'm convinced that it's no accident that when my replacement finally arrived it had an almost perfect matching ASIC score. I'm convinced that MSI went out of their way for me because nobody is that lucky in the silicone lottery especially me.

Those are nice ASIC scores. You'll likely be able to fetch a pretty penny for those if and when you ever decide to sell them. It's nice to see people paying attention to their ASIC qualities again after years and years of being told it doesn't matter. Apparently it does matter or EVGA wouldn't be charging extra for a binned chip with a higher ASIC.
