Not to be rude, but out of curiosity, will the individuals that stay at 0 points and 0 units be entered in the prize pool?
If they are currently allowed to win some awesome prizes and don't start folding, things should be reconsidered.. I don't mean to be rude, but people get handouts all the time, and we have some absolutely amazing members putting their rigs into heavy use for this competition/event..
From what I can see, only two people are sitting at 0 and 0 four days in, so they have time..
P.s. I wish my 960 was only, so that I could actually bank a few more points for eastern.. The one I am giving away will be 99.999999999% brand new when it ships.. It won't see a single day beyond verifying it works. Never even put under load.

bcavnaugh Well I add some 780's into the mix. Mostly to see how well they do on Core 21 and also to keep up and over take Gunsvnvmc by the weekend. Also I need to restart my 980HC Rig because of a Core 21 taking 100% of the GPU 100% of the time and seeing video slowness and non responsive Desktop. So in doing this I might drop in PPD for today.
I've had this happen, it is on the verge of failing. A quick pause always fixed it for me.
I have found a Pause cuts the credit by at least 1/4 so I stopped pausing on my NVIDIA Rigs. I need to down clock to at lest 1450 from 1470 and see how it goes.

Zuhl3156 New 358.87 drivers were just released. Every time I update my drivers my ppd goes through the roof for a while. I'm afraid of losing a WU if I shut down to update.
I will give that driver a go on my 780 Rig, thanks for the update!

I see it mostly with P9205, at least for my Rigs. P9208 is a Sweet Project to run and I have seen no issues with them.

I noticed that a while ago and it's one of the reasons I run my display off of the CPU graphics. Sometimes it will catch back up again but not always. When running my display off of the video boards I will lose points just for wiggling the mouse or opening email.

I have this happening right now. This will be a very bad day for me
I am going to update the Drivers tonight after the current Projects Complete. I think for the week ending it would be best to re-start the rigs that are showing this type of issue.

Well, THAT was an unneeded scare - lights flicker, UPS clicks over and beeps, but folding and stats collecting boxes power off. So, I bring everything back on line, get F@H running again and it happens again. And a third time. So, I get STUPID paranoid and power off the UPS battery. . . . As a series of flickers are happening . . . And they stop. So, we either have a bad UPS that is now acting right after being hard powered off, OR the issue that was spiking the line stopped at the same time I shut off the UPS. And I know it's not that I'm overloading the UPS - I'm playing it CLOSE!! but not overloading it (It's a 900W rated system and folding full out plus the media server are pulling 740 or so watts). So, yeah, that was a TEEEEENY bit stressful as I'd have to figure out how to power two pcs, monitor and the networking gear off the wall outlet, then figure out where to find the money to replace the UPS with an upgrade if it WERE being overloaded. I'm gonna be keeping an eye on things over the next day or so, however, JUST in case . . . . I'll let you all know if things go south on me in that manner and will endeavor to have stats running no matter what. d

The Two P9704 are under 4 hours at start time. PS I am now also on the new driver 358.87 that Zuhl3156 told us about. Also new today Core 21 P9207/P9210 has as high of a credit as P9208 +153141 Credit per Project. The sad side to this is P9207 takes 10 Plus Hours to complete. My HFM Site

Nope, the wild double post has multiplied and it can never be "cleaned up" so we sit here, idly wondering... Why did I quote this? Ah yes, so that the moderators will chuckle and realize, the wild double post is an amusing creature with no cleaning necessary. ;-) thanks for the updates in the first post. lol

How is it your 980s are getting better frame times on the 9208/9/10 projects? You said you run them at 1450-1475 right? I'm at 1500 and have higher frame times, not by much but enough for a ~25k ppd difference. my hfm site

zophar Who would I need to PM to change gift donation regions? I did 2 sets of ram and figure I should have made them world wide. The rest of the stuff is big enough and heavy enough that shipping would get expensive really quick. And if anyone has questions about the test bench or the cable extensions I put up send me a PM and I'll answer asap.
PM troy8d and he can update the spreadsheet - and copy me so I will be sure to update the tables I use in the prize picker tool. Thanks for the donations!

I dropped my MHz to 1450 on both 980 Rigs. (Only because of Core 21 Project 9205) I hope it runs overnight ok, so far it is keeping up with a Core 18 P9430. The Project I had issues with was and is P9205, after updating the driver tonight I ended up getting one more of them. From what I have seem all other Core 21 Projects run great at 1470, only P9205 is a problem child. See My HFM Site for current Status.

The last time I could afford to fold for a full month was in May when the current objective was to overtake Default. I would be willing to continue folding nonstop for the entire month if EVGA would award the participants with a Z97 Classified motherboard. You might think this is a ridiculous request but in essence it is a win-win situation for all involved. We get a motherboard that can fit more video boards for better folding production and EVGA gets a big tax break for a donation towards continuing medical research.

I will be folding all month. EVGA has honestly gone above and beyond offering an astounding 16 prizes this round. This is the first time EVGA has offered this for the folding contest, and I would feel absolutely terrible to ask for more of them after all they have done.
If I could scrape it up, I would purchase the board myself, but funding will be the issue.

Completely agree. As I previously mentioned, we all fold what we are able. We do not ask nor want anyone to fold beyond their resources. Similarly, we should not do so of EVGA. They already go far above and beyond in supporting the folding team which was founded by members of this forum.

I think you misunderstand, most people are thoroughly enjoying them. Even if it completely wrecks the PPD estimate I gave last month. I'll just have to play more dota 2 to compensate. As of the last roughly two days I'm finally getting 21 projects more often than not.

I get a rotating diet of both Core x18 and Core x21 projects and haven't had any more bad WU returned lately. But when I had two Core x21 WU loaded and running at the same time my ppd dropped down to 610,000 from an average of 750,000+.
