Spoke to Amazon support and they had no updates, essentially telling me prior support mislead me. But if Juvir is right and shipments would go out when they open in a few hours, there's still hope?
That's "if" they would ship today, they wouldn't even begin shipping them today for another 2 1/2 hours, when HQ opens (9am PST/12pm EST). Support told me the same thing yesterday, that they didn't have any stock yet, and didn't know when it would arrive. Amazon as a policy though does not tell customers when stock is going to arrive, so they aren't flooded with calls on that day.
How do you know that? So, today is the day?!

Yeah, "if", which is what I'm hopeful for. Weird that I had two reps prior give stock updates. I guess some of them let it slip. Today's support person wouldn't budge but I got $10 off and another month of prime. That's cool.
I'll post back immediately if I get a shipping update.
Or they lied to get you off the phone, which I have found more often than not. They usually don't have access to stock updates so they don't let things slip. Awesome you got free prime though! I still only pay $80 a year, so they can't discount that any further for me, and they already upgraded it to free overnight shipping.

For a short window the other day I did see that the SC2 on Amazon (Sold by Amazon) was expected to be in stock today. This was on the product page, so MAYBE that applies to the whole EVGA line.
This waiting sucks. I've been on my 7970 for over a month

The Elite won't begin shipping until at LEAST the 22nd iirc, they made an announcement about it when they announced the card. It didn't release the same time as the standard FTW3

You are lucky then. Mine shows still scheduled for Thursday. Maybe today is your Birthday or something.

Pre-ordered a FTW3 from Amazon US on 4/6 and received a notification that I had to "approve" the delay that would take until June for them to get stock. I know generally Amazon likes to underpromise and overdeliver, but I'm probably just going to cancel the order at this point. The card is flat out not worth it.

Ordered two of these on the 21st of April... They "should" arrive by the 25th of May... Ugh, importing lead times suck. Till then, I'll keep torturing myself watching videos and reading reviews LOL.

Both my cards are out for delivery by UPS. Sucks that I work today. Off next 2 days though! Wanted to know what the outcome is for the free game codes we were all supposed to receive? Is that deal still valid or did it expire? Is EVGA stepping up to address it?

You can cancel at any time so it doesn't hurt to approve it. They just put the email out to keep you informed. Maybe they do that if they have too many pre-orders and not enough estimated stock. Maybe to see if ppl cancel thier orders... Just a guess. Not a huge deal unless you're impatient.

Nope... not my birthday (yet), that's in about 3 weeks. I like to think it was just that the weather was nice and it was a couple of great days for riding for the pony express guy who is carrying my video card from California to South Dakota. ;)
