When playing games, you should not be doing other things on other screens. Quit watching Netflix on a different screen.
The general solution to the problem "something bad happens if I do something I shouldn't be doing" is to "stop doing the bad thing".
Thanks for your input on how I like to do things. Now back to my question, would that stuttering be a CPU or GPU overload?
You have much more access to your own computer than do we. Please tell us, so that we can tell you. You would need to answer your own question by looking primarily at CPU load versus GPU load and look for what changes the most when the stutter occurs.
Is it a single player game, or a multi player game? What is the game? What is the game genre? How much AI is in the game? Tell us about your internet connection, tell us about your computer's network connection, and tell us if you are using a built in LAN or WAN connection or an add-in card. If you are noticing the "issue" in a multi player game, does your router have QoS enabled which may cause your multi player to lag every time Netflix grabs a new big nugget of information? Have you tried disabling your router's QoS function?
So many questions. So few answers. So few questions we can answer without more information from you. So much unwillingness from me to chase this "issue" for too long since you are purposely using your computer in a way which is not advised.
I think we may have started off on the wrong foot due to your subject of the thread running on into the content of your thread. It's a pretty bad practice, causes confusion, and is an annoyance. It causes a bad first impression.
